    By the way you see me regular on your Channel, Im actually living through what you’re teaching, I moved to South Africa and opened a production company and honestly all your honest videos have been the key to how things are going now, will reveal more details as the year progresses, after the projects are done you know NDAs😂 but I am beyond grateful to this channel, in fact people ask me how I know business so much I just directed to your channel and it’s helping them as well

      Love this! I really appreciate your support and I can't take all the credit, knowledge is only power when it's applied 😉 best of luck and I'm glad things are going well! Keep it up 🔥🔥🔥🙌🙌🙌🙌

      It’s the least I can do, you have really helped me out, the RPC, how to keep composure with big clients especially during negotiations, the webinars, the series you helped the other guy start up, being transparent about failure of the company, I remember all that and my team is thankful as well. Keep the videos coming😎 it would be an honor to feature in one of your videos over zoom where I can share how much your content has helped me and Im sure I’m not the only one in your audience who would be interested to share 😉

    I like that you're talking about areas of struggle. There a lot of stuff on UA-cam for beginners, and a little bit of high-level educating, but not enough of this intermediate, "let's figure it out together" kind of stuff. Would love to see more like this type of honest content dealing with the tough stuff.

    Hi Ross, Very good video and the day in the life of the video business. I was thinking over the last week, is it time to move on from the video world, with AI Video AI, Chat GTP etc, What will the future of NEW AI technology be for us in the Video world. What will the future be for video. I noticed that some of my clients are now using mobile to record video footage for social media, some of the apps, are amazing, and does a business need us anymore... Is it time to prepare for a career, or move along with AI.... AI is here to stay...... Keep up the good work Ross :):) Michael....

      Thank you for your comment Michael this is a brilliant question. I can cover this topic in a future video if it helps.
      For the time being, I don't think videographers and production companies are at risk of losing out.
      If anything I believe that we can use the New AI Technology to create a better workflow.

    Good content. Maybe a few too many crash zooms though! It’s a bit distracting!

      I havent! A friend of mine uses it for design work but maybe I'll take a look into it. Do you use it? What's your thoughts??

    • @mfjae

      @Ross Welch
      I was looking for a project management tool to help with my production needs for my non-profit and for the way I wanted to work, clickup is the best for me and has worked pretty well for the team so far and with their new release of version 3.0, I think they might just outclass the market. It very customizable to how you want it to be and it's hierarchical structure is genius for breaking work down and organizing your process. And it has pretty powerful dashboards to give you an overview of where you're at

    I see the editor hasn't been sacked... 0:16 an I sport odd camera technique, and leave me wondering if who runs this business. Guess I can check it out at Company House in the UK
    Ross, why haven't you realised these videos advertise you, your business, you brand, your abilities, and why should people stick around for your services, your courses, your productions and / or social media company
    I want to see more BTS footage, seeing you, Ross in operations and maybe other activities, show us, the audience, you actually know what your are talking about. Otherwise, you're a snake oil salesman, aka an actor answering to a bigger boss
    If I am wrong, sorry, but where is the evidence I am not?
    P.S. - That Sony camera, those Canon lenses, or the Apple Mac laptop that looks switched off on this obvious set doesn't help. I wanna see what YOU can do!!!

    • @RossWelch
      @RossWelch  Рік тому +1

      Hey Louie, interesting take on the videos. Unfortunately you're wrong on quite a few of those accounts and I certainly don't subscribe to sacking someone because they make a mistake or they are learning. You do have some good points for us to consider though,
      I'd love to do more BTS so hopefully that'll come with our current job vacancies. We still have to be careful though. Lots of our work is NDA and also we don't want our clients who are paying for our services feeling uneasy about us shooting youtube videos on site.
      I'm simply here for people who want to learn how to run a busienss. I don't have all the answers (I'm transparent about that) but I know the road I've taken to get here, the obstacles and challenges faced, so I'll only talk from experience and keep people posted on our journey as we grow.
      As you could imagine, running the production company is the main priority so I'm excited to fill our current vacancies and see the channel and my other businesses grow more!

    What about renting as opposed to buying.....

    • @RossWelch
      @RossWelch  Рік тому

      Renting is always a great option but personally, we prefer ownership.
      Also depending on the client's budget renting a camera that will provide better quality than your current camera is a good idea. Just make sure that the budget is available. 😊
