Dropout and Wipeout chutes on either side of Chair 23, Paranoid Flats and more extreme terrain past the Paranoid Flats (Philippe’s, etc.). Looks like the terrain (Dragons tail and Wazoo) next to Cloud Nine Express is open so that can be an option. High 5 and Face lifts can be good if upper mountain isn’t open.
I feel pretty blessed to be able to wake up and have one of your adventures ready to go. Thank you for all your hard work. Thank you for keeping the stoke fire burning.
Mammoth is an awesome mountain. I loved the experience living and working there. I must exclude any comment about "Mammoth Culture" as it was a question on my supervisor interview. It took me many years to translate what that meant and once I learned I also learned to keep my mouth shut about it if I want a career in skiing. By retiring to Timberline my words rock the instruction industry. They are big words.from my big size 13 mouth.. Sad Finlay only comprehends four letter words but he fell hard failed my examiner exam .
Lucas, That magic alpen glow before sunset is awesome, and it keeps getting better throughout the season. Being in the mountains is what it's all about. I would take a 1 hour day over a no ski day......any day.
Wow, you got a lot in an hour. It’s pretty special when you can get the last lift of the day. I admire you for using the last hour to get some content as a pose to just blowing off the day as a travel day. Thanks for taking us along. Be safe.
Opening day in south eastern Ontario Canada today!!! Just crawled home hurting all over and seeing you rip lines top to bottom in actual real snow!!! You are the man!!! Thank you for doing what you do.
That was fantastic! Watching I actually felt the pressure to get that last run in with you lol!!!! Mammoth has always been on the bucket list along with Kirkwood. So anxious to see through your eyes!! Safe travels!
Mammoth is my favorite place to ski. Knew you had a video, just wanted to catch up on all the videos i missed first. That hour was intense!!! Respect 💪
Great vid Lucas! I'm sure the adrenaline was flowing! We always use to try to make last chair to squeeze out every minute and many times got ushered off the mountain by ski patrol! Keep it up....enjoying the ride!
Another stunning video! Thanks for making my morning! Awesome to see you at the resort where I first learned how to ski many, many years ago. Welcome to California!
You are absolutely hardcore to the core My brother and I used to do those same things ski the laps at the end of the day no one around Best time of the day awesome video bro enjoyed every moment of it got me totally excited
At first I thought you meant you got stuck on the chair lift for an hour! ha ha glad you didn't... looks cool, I've never been there but I guess that's our home mountain in Ventura... they say it only takes 4 and 1/4 hours from Ventura. I will go one day but not sure why I haven't yet... looked good, the snow was really coming down there a week or two ago... keep up the great videos. Thanks for bringing the snow to us.
Wasn't expecting that last lap with 3 minutes left! Surprised you fit so much in and STOKED for your next couple vids. I was in Mammoth just a couple months ago in the fall and can't wait to be back to ski.
Thank you for putting out such great content it puts a smile on my face. I ski at deer valley an love when you make a vid there. Next time you go you should ski x files and Quincey knoll both of then are off empire past chute 10. Both are runs in the trees and blacks. Have fun!
There are some sweet hot springs to hang out, over by 22 or 12 there is a sweet ridge you can climb. It’s on the back side, hardly no one goes and its perfect in the afternoon. Or go hike the Sherwoods not apart of the mountains, it’s accessible by twin lakes.
one of the best videos of the season so far! What an amazing time you made out of one hour on the hill, I remember doing a similar thing last year and it was empty and beautiful. I was gripping my skin when you were rushing back to catch last chair at 3:57, I was so stressed lol. Great video though, can't wait for tons more Mammoth footage.
Mammoth is my home mountain absolutely epic terrain out here. Id reccomend checking out gravy chute under broadway leads to this sickk pretty mellow cliff called potato rock that u can hit if thats ur thing. Off chair 23 id reccomend u hit paranoid chutes over to the left. If u want some heavy stuff id reccomend kiwi flats to Phillips but def don’t hit that alone and coverage may not be good enough there. Hangman off of the upper gondola is pretty sick too if ur up for that. Have fun stay safe!!!
You should try shaft, it's one of my favorite runs at mammoth and it's right next to upper viva and avalanche chutes. Also, if you can get to it, try devil's tail.
Nothing hits like waking up Sunday morning to a new episode! Totally a ski day homie! You squeezed out every last bit, and created an awesome video too. Impressive honestly. Keep doing what you’re doing, and thank you! ⛷🤙
Dude, you maxed out your skiing in one hour. That was great to see you pack so much in. Looks like Santa needs to bring you some new gloves for Christmas. Thanks for taking us on your adventures.
Lucas another rec is off cloud nine express or chair 9. Good thing your going to chair 23 next vid bc the snow is great off it. Face lift and high five express are good options. Along with the outpost, the outpost is at the end of the Hemlocks. And don’t forget to take Dave’s run! Are you going to June mountain, if so it’s amazing literally no one is there and it has amazing snow.
Fantastic video. Gotta get that last one in............. we've all been there. Question, how in the world do you shoot those videos where a camera is evidently 6-8 ft in front and above as you ski. That is a great technique. Never seen that before.
Curious where you parked your van overnight. 20 minutes out of town sounds like Wild Willie's hot springs, maybe? I parked there during the last storm and mice kept sneaking into my van, They finally won the battle and I retreated back into town and found a parking lot to camp out.
Laps on 23 are great dropout and wipeout... paranoid flats is also a fav... Off the gondola is great... You can see into Yosemite valley from there on a clear day... Could the dragons back still hold pow in the trees? maybe... idk... Just stay out of the base areas on weekends and you'll be fine... Eat at mid mountain...
Least crowded chair in Mammoth…however usually crappy snow after a short time cause it gets all cut up, and is in the shade most of the day. So, difficult conditions, and good skier who rotates a bit.
Dude missed you by one day at mammoth! Would’ve been sweet to see you on the mountain. I think you’ll like pretty much anything off the gondola or 23. Gotta do Dave’s
I have a Friend that was on the Ski Patrol at Mammoth. He lived in a VW van fore a while. 90 straight days with the Ski Boots on. He was young, good looking, and lots of energy. I don't think he skis any more. He went to work for the Railroad like his Dad and Me.

so there's a lot of BLM land just outside mammoth on the other side of 395. little pullouts and lots to stay at. i also heard mammoth scenic road or wtvr its called has a lot!

People underestimate just how hard it is to regularly produce content, not to mention probably being exhausted every day after a full day of skiing
