24 RS3 owner here, and it sounds like stock car on 93 octane would be close to 400 whp! It hates 91 octane because it's tuned for 93 or higher from the factory!
So I just got my 24 RS3 and plan on adding a intake and turbo inlet, and even Florida we have 93 octane. So with your setup, running 93 octane what type of HP and TQ gains are you getting? Also, have you had any types of reliability issues with the setup? Or has it been running flawless? And finally, do you find that it helps spool the turbo up slightly earlier since our cars only really turn into weapons at 4,000 RPMs in stock mode. Thanks in advance
Really nice of u guys doing this, since u have the BMS intake, next should fit a 3.5” turbo inlet and then dyno, and Intercooler as the stock ic heat soak quickly after a few pulls.
I was waiting for @JVette01 to show up and talk shit about the RS3 again in these comments if you know who I'm talking about Lol? Hope everything is going well with your RS3 bro!
@@BurgerMotorsports anyone running 10s with these mods? Seems like alot of low 11s which doesn't align with 486whp at 3650lb car. For example my g82 Lci making about 500whp and weighing 3800lbs runs 10.9s. Rs3 is is 150 lb lighter so it should mph better. Is the 60ft awful like 1.7s on the 8Y?
So here in Florida we have 93 octane. I'm wondering what my 24 RS3 should do with a simple intake/turbo inlet and a JB4 tune. I will not be going for a flash tune down the road. I just want something conservative, nothing that will stress the car at all. So have you guys tested The JB4 and intake with 93 octane? Just wondering what kind of HP and torque gains I'd be looking at with a setup like that. Thanks
@BurgerMotorsports That's fantastic! And if I may ask, do you know what that translates to If we're talking about crank horsepower and torque gains. So stock horsepower is 401 and stock torque is 369. Do you know what those horsepower and torque numbers should reach with the setup I'm discussing?
@@BurgerMotorsports Should that be around 471 BHP? Has there been any data that shows that the JB4 helps with low end torque? Even slightly? Because the power only really comes in around 4,000 RPMs, So I was wondering if the JB4 can help add a little more power earlier on?
Where can you get that air filter? when you go to Burgertuning website it doesn't show that air filter. I the air filter on this video a prototype? Great video by the way
@BurgerMotorsports nice...i was looking at the 3.5" version, but opted for a K&N drop-in filter for $45. LOL I am running the JB4 on my 8Y on custom Map 6 that George helped me with on an e30/93 mix. I don't recall us doing any IAT spoofing on 93.
Fuel-It is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. For anyone wanting to buy any of their products, save your money. If there are any manufacturer defects, they will NOT stand behind their product. Paired with the unprofessionalism of the owner…. Save your $$$ buy all these things separate and create your own kit.
Never had any issues with them as a company. In fact, when I did have issues with one of their products, they were very responsive and helpful, replacing the product entirely once I had completed all of their requested troubleshooting steps.
Sorry you had a negative experience with them. Generally all products they sell are covered under a one year warranty and I rarely hear of any issues with their stuff. If you send me your information I can try to get to the bottom of your specific situation.
@@dustwhyn that’s good to hear. My issue with them was a year ago. They sent me lines for a completely different car. That's nuts on a pretty stock RS3. 😳 😊
It sure is! JB4 for the WIN!
I tried map 5 with ron99
-Straight pipe milltek race opf and cat delete
-Eventuri intake and turbo inlet
-Do88 IC
1/4 in 11,3sec
Shoot george@burgertuning.com a log maybe he can help you spice it up. We hope to post a 10.9x dragy slip with our next RS3 video. ;)
