I'm really disappointed and fed up! Why to give us the impression that things could settle down, and in a nice way, when it's NOT? OK, this is a soap opera, but come on!!!!!! Luke: "Is it too much to ask you to love me for me instead of what you want me to be?" Great line! And that doesn't mean that Luke wasn't wrong kissing Brian, obviously he was totally a jerk, but.... he's right saying that. I think they should understand that they have to face problems TOGETHER. Being apart is just useless.
You can notice that, when in a stressful situation, the boys handle it differently. In the beginning, before the walls break down, Luke is cynical and sarcastic, and Noah is so pissed he's yelling. But as the confrontation goes on, Luke starts doing that yelling/crying thing that I luv, and Noah gets all quiet. I read waaaaay 2 much into this... NUKE 4EVA!
The problem with this storyline is the fact that, given Luke, Noah, and Maddie's past and present, it makes perfect sense. But the writers don't have Luke articulate why it makes sense. Noah and Maddie had sex almost immediately after Luke told Noah he was gay. Which, by the way, Luke walked in on. Luke and Noah have been dating two years at this point. And in those two years have never done more than kiss, something Luke keeps wanting to change, and Noah rejects him. Thus Luke's insecurity.
Noah doesn't have to forgive Luke, but understand the (silly) reasons why he kissed Brian. When Luke feels insecure, he messes things up, something Noah should know by now. But I'm an unconditional Luke fan: I'd always forgive him, no matter what...
Now all we need is for Luke to fall off the roof and get hurt and then Noah will realise that his life would suck without him and then they would fall into each others arms on a hospital bed.
I used to not understand what people meant when they cried for help trying to get away from this show. But I started watching these episodes at 12:30pm this afternoon and it is now 8:52pm with no end in sight. I need an ATWT intervention on the Nuke story before I turn into a zombie!!!!
Loved that roof top scene! It felt like a real arguement. I understood both Noah and Luke! AND SWEET FUCK I COULDN'T STOP STARING AT JAKES' EYES AND VANS' LIPS!!!!!!!!!!1
I don't think anyone ever mentioned that Noah should stop loving Luke. I think the point was that Noah shouldn't automatically forgive Luke when he is clearly wrong just like Luke shouldn't automatically forgive Noah when is clearly in the the wrong. As for Luke placing the blame, it's a tendency of his to follow up his apologies to Noah with reasons why something Noah did make Luke act as he did. It's basically "I am sorry... but you made me do it". That shifts the onus from Luke to Noah.
I love this episode. I know they didn't get back together, but it was still a good conversation. And I love the Casey and Alison scenes, they are so cute! I like Casey's remark "they'll be thanking us at their wedding", that made me smile. He's so adorable!
Also, Luke, this sort of thing is what friends do - they help their friends through their emotional crap, particularly when love is on the line. Casey and Allison are damn good friends, and you're lucky to have them. Also, thank you, Jade, for giving Lucinda the verbal smackdown. (Talk about phrases you didn't think you'd say...) If it hadn't been Luke, it would have been someone else. And if Luke had spoken up, you either wouldn't have believed him or treated him just like you are right now.
I agree with Noah here 100%. "I don't think it's to much to ask for someone to remain faithful" I don't even see where Noah gave the impression that he wanted Luke to be "perfect". What is Luke talking about? He cheated on Noah because he was irrational and didnt trust Noah...okay wait...he's saying his irrationality is an imperfection? Ehhh okay Luke.

There's only about 5% or less of all human's who are NOT heterosexual. So take all the problems, frustrations and anguish of all those straight people in the world trying to find their perfect partner and AMPLIFY it by 95% That's how hard it is for us!! So if N & L really love and are so hot for each other, damn it boys - MAKE IT WORK!! Else there's no hope for anyone!
