Hi I would like to start my first multi-campaign but I have absolutely no idea how to deal with the issue of shipments. If I send prizes to 200 countries, do I have to register as a VAT payer for these 200 countries? This seems a bit absurd, assuming that I would send single shipments to most of these countries. Is there a simpler solution or should I just register for all the countries to which I will ship?
Hey! I'll preface this by saying I am not a tax expert. But from what I've seen there are generally two options you have when it comes to VAT: 1. You have the backer pay the fee 2. You pay the fee The first option actually isn't that uncommon, although it may be a bit frustrating to the backer. I'd recommend using a pledge manager like www.pledgemanager.com/ to help with the taxes
