I might be wrong but couldn't you buy the hard ware for the mid pto that comes standard on lx2610hst and install it on the lx2610hstsu? Maybe I'm missing something. Please explain

Not really in this case. It's theoretically possible, but would require so many unique individual parts that you would exceed the cost difference between buying the upgraded version (which is only about $1300), which would come with the extra perks as well. Wouldn't really make sense.

What's the name of those r4 tyres? they look new

Yep, they are a newer style; those would be the Titan Trac-Loader II's. Pretty nice upgrade over the originals, and they're available on many current Kubota models
