- Album Description:
“The Black Mamba” unites two powerful voices from the West Bank. L.Mont, a legend in both the streets and the music industry, represents the West Side of Jefferson Parish, while Woe Da Don hails from the Cut-Off area in Algiers, New Orleans Parish. Though they came from different parts of the West Bank, they first connected in Jefferson Parish Prison on an annex tier, where their mutual respect and shared passion for hip-hop instantly bonded them.
Recognizing L.Mont’s talent and reputation, Woe Da Don was inspired to make music together. True to his word, once released, L.Mont tapped in to fulfill his promise to Woe Da Don, and together they crafted a six-track project that captures the struggles, resilience, and dedication of their journeys.
The project is titled The Black Mambo, named after the swift and deadly black mamba snake, symbolizing their survival and adaptability. It’s also a tribute to Kobe Bryant, who embodied the relentless pursuit of greatness. Each track is a testament to their roots on the West Bank, proving that strength, loyalty, and talent can rise from any corner of the city. ❤️felt
