Update: After wearing the dark gray shirt for a few days it relaxed a bit (stretched out) and fits great. I also broke a cardinal rule of wool clothing and tossed the large shirt in the dryer for 15 minutes and it shrunk some and fits better too! Maybe not recommended but it worked for me.
I wear my wool sweaters for about 4-5 months in the winter, washing maybe once during that time to clean surface stains. I agree, wools are great at odor resistance.
I am having merino wool shirt for past four sweaty summer months. No smell, no odor, no itchy feeling. Not sure if the blended yarns could provide the same quality but 100 of Merino works really great for me
That might be it. I did a three day hike with one of their 100% wool shirts and it never smelled. Granted, that hike was in Alaska and much cooler than a North Carolina summer.
I bit the bullet and bought two pairs of merino wool training pants to work out in; my hope is that I can get by wearing each of them 3 days in a row before washing at the end of week. I will have to see if he reacts to the dress I get before trying one of these. (Of course if he has a reaction I just won’t wear it around him but it will be good for work)
Costco in Omaha is selling merino wool long sleeve unisex Tee shirts for $8. In sizes small to XXL. Why so cheap? No one will buy them. I bought 5 for myself and my wife bought two. I asked a person working in the clothing and she said men refuse to wear any wool clothing including work shirts. The women said that wool itches or they are allergic to wool. I have wool shirts I have been wearing for years and they are cool in the summer and warm in the winter. That cannot be said for 65% of clothing made from plastic and will never decompose in the city dump.

Good question. If you look at minute 3 you can see it is tighter, but still not what I would call high and tight. I think over time and not washing/drying made it larger. Also, the large was overall larger than other larges from other companies while the medium was a bit more true to size.
I received my wool & prince t-shirts and bottom down shirt a week ago and I've got to say I love the material!
