Thanks for making and sharing that. I have some Givi bars arriving by UPS tonight. They are going on my CB500X but I figured I could still learn a few things from this video!
I just bought a 2018 nc750x and after dropping my previous bike in a parking lot it ran me 1100 in damage and i was going less the 10km/hr . OEM replacement parts are stupidly expensive . The Givi engine gaurd and Kobra handlebar gaurds where the first mods i installed .Very helpful video .
Great video. I'm waiting for my crash bars to arrive and this explained everything. I'm from Pennsylvania originally but now live in Brazil. It's hard to get information like this here.
Hi Hank. Thank you for your video. You saved me a lot of money that I could my crashbar installation. Also it was absolutely easy after I saw how you do it. Thank you very much
Just fitting some to mine , had a right ol game getting lower left bolt out ,where it screws into engine it’s open to the elements at base , think will cover it with grease or similar, good informative article thanks
Hi, just bought the same bars to my Nc700s, I found your video very useful. Did you use the original bolts to fix them or replaced with longer ones? Many thanks.
Hey, great video and just what I need! However a quick question - is that the allan key to came in the tool kit that you used to remove the plastic engine cover at the start? The one that came in mine seems like it should fit but just doesn't...
8 years later still helpful, first bike and it came with no instructions, thanks
Great Video, doing the install Saturday. Worst case Ontario I have to watch the video again Saturday to refresh my memory.
lol just make sure to tell randy and lahey to fuck off and it should be good

Hello my friend, greetings from Costa Rica. Are these crash bars protect well when motorcycle fall down the ground?
Yup, that is their exact purpose. Costa Rica is a beautiful country!
+hanksranger thank you my friend. Very nice video...
If you wanna see places of my country, check my Chanel, I have videos traveling around Costa Rica in my NC
Just bought these, seems like it's overall not too difficult to install. thanks man!
No problem!
do you have to take the bars back off to change the oil filter.?
Nope

I don’t think so. Sorry
Are there torque specifications included in the instructions? Thanks.
Nope just basic pictures pretty much
I would suggest about 15 foot pounds of torque and use a bit of blue Locktite on the threads.
Do you have the model # of those crash bars? - They look better than the Givi TN1111 I am seeing now.
The ones in this video are the same model #. They likely updated the line.
Ever think about strapping highway pegs to them?
great video! thanks!
You're welcome!
