- I'm always sceptical when products boom on Instagram, but after talking to my hairdresser, I realised this company is the real deal and not just paying people to say their products work. (Believe me this happens a lot!) I've been wanting to try this product out for a while, but it's never been the right time....but now it is!

My skin type is combi/dry most of the month, but when hormonal, my skin gets very oily around my t-zone. It's very unpredictable (thanks skin) and I suffer from breakouts (mostly hormonal breakouts...thanks again hormones!)

Hi Everyone, Just a quick update for you about how my mum has got on with the Dream Filter....She took it home and shock horror, she loved it so has kept it (she did buy me a replacement this time haha) Now it didn't work as well in my mum's hair as in mine but there was a noticeable difference. My mum had minerals dulling her hair and making it look yellow, but she also had some heat damage from straighteners which had also turned her hair yellow, and also sun damage which (yes you guessed it) had also turned her hair yellow. So although the Dream Filter did get rid of the yellow from the minerals, it didn't get rid of the heat damage etc. So in conclusion, this did work on naturally white hair, but not as well as in my coloured bleached hair.

Hi, I know I'm a bit late to the party on this one. Just tried this on my natural white hair that has some yellowing to it. It did make a noticeable difference - a lot better than clarifying shampoos and the L'Oreal Metal Detox shampoo. I try to avoid heat styling my hair as I'm growing it, so I have hope that a few more treatments with this may get it even clearer. My hair is very fine and the good thing is that I don't see any drying out or frizz (I did use a moisturising conditioner afterwards).

I love this product. I also love the dream coat and the best of them all is the kale cocktail. My hair is amazing with it and drying it is so easy. Usually thick and wavy, it dries beautifully straight with ease and soft

My hair is white/silver in front, darker silver in back, so it should behave similarly I would think.
Also, purple shampoo used occasionally helps to keep that yellow gone from white hair😁

Hi Gemma, so glad you did this review 😊 I’m waiting for my order of this product as I use colour wow products and really like what I use in their range. Your hair looks fabulous and now I’m excited to try it. I have used clarifying shampoos in the past but was looking for something gentle on my hair. I’ve gone from dyed blonde hair back to brunette with some underlying blonde still coming through so I’m interested to see how it works on brunette hair as I mainly got it to clean build up, minerals etc from my hair. I have the same pattern of grey as you 😊 It's my father that has the white hair, my mum was salt and pepper, so fingers crossed I get my dad's grey. I have yellow streaks in the white grey at the front of my head, so something like this would be really useful. Thanks for the review and hope you are fully recovered soon.

Looks wonderful Gemma! Feel better soon! I've been using a cool toning shampoo from L'ange called Glac'e. It works very well. I'm a natural blonde but still get low-lights & high-lights. Very interested in the product you tried! L'ange does have a new toning product out but it's sold out at the moment (everyone raves about it) & it's at the same price point as the Wow. I hope you feel better! You are a trooper😊 Your hair really looked so shiny and healthy after your WOW treatment. I looked on the website, and they sell a product that protects the hair from humidity. I live in the "deep south" (US) and we often have 100% humidity and 90 degree weather. No matter what I do to my hair when I step outside it goes flat on my head (limp). I can't wait to try this!!

Hi Gemma, I used the Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray after washing and conditioning my hair with Aussie Mate. I have lots of blonde highlights and I agree with you that you almost want to run back to the hairdresser a couple of weeks later to have it done again. This Wow stuff is fantastic and keeps your hair looking good for up to three days. I've only used it once and have washed again without the spray and got the same result....FANTASTIC!
This stuff is AMAZING!! I regularly use chelating shampoos to get the product gunk out of my hair. I live on well water that I know is highly mineralized. We've got a home-based water filter and bacterial UV lamp, but I suspected that I was getting mineral build up. I used this the last time I washed, and my hair is behaving completely differently! Thank you for the recommendation!!!

Holy smokes - I’ve never heard of that but it really is WOW. I have high and low lights too, and mousy grey roots - I’d prefer dark roots. I use purple shampoo all the time but still feel brassy quite often.

Feel better soon, I am an old hairdresser, so I use a shampoo for colored treated hair especially the purple coloring shampoo which makes your white and blonde hair brighter. Basically does the same thing as this treatment would do. Take care!
I don't like purple products as they leave a residue on your hair and my hair never feels nice after a treatment. Purple shampoos are like adding a colour corrector to your face. They neutralise colour by adding colour. The COLOR WOW product does not add colour, it takes away the minerals that dull the hair over time. I live in a hard water area so this happens quite fast where I live xxx

A bit different but you said you working on the foundation review. I was just wondering if you wanted to include Rodial diamond foundation as there is not many reviews on it and I think its super amazing. The only drawback is the shade range cos its hard to find for fair skin. I am the same shade as you and can just get away with the lightest shade after being very tanned. But the foundation is like nothing else I have ever tried. So good. X

Definitely try the colorwow shampoo for ur mom i have several clients that didnt even know their hair was such a beautiful silvery white until i shampooed it for the first time they were shocked and thought i did something w their color secretly lol w just 1 shampoo they were committed to their new favorite shampoo

My Mum’s hair is bright white like your Mum’s and I really hope mine will be the same. I have some white hairs but not lots at the moment. I have lots of small bleach highlights in my hair so it looks like an all over colour but more natural. I am really interested in this product. I will be trying this as I have 12 weeks in between going to the hairdressers. Would be interested in a product or shampoo that makes your hair shiny and sleek but not greasy as I have thin hair and not much of it at the moment as a lot has fallen out and it is thin and a bit tufty and not sleek. I've tried this my hair has copper foils with some blonde in too. It made no difference to mine. Used it 4 times. I think if you have more blonde in and you're in a hard water area it'll probably work. Bought from qvc so I sent it back. Love other colorwow products though especially dreamcoat brilliant for humidity.

I recently dyed all of my hair blonde with foils about a month a go, and it's turned brassy and yellowy and is making me feel so mehhh. I can't afford to go to the salon more than once every 8 weeks too, so maybe this product will really help.
May I ask what shampoo & conditioner you use? And do you also use a hair mask? I'm trying to keep my hair in good condition since I dyed it all blonde and am having trouble finding products.
Hi J, I don't use purple shampoos and conditioner as they are basically just colour correctors for the hair and they leave a film on my hair that I don't like the feel of. I much prefer this product instead. My hair feels amazing. I only use L'Oreal elvive shampoo and conditioner. No hair masks etc. Nothing major xxx

You need to try the fanola no yellow 👌👌
grey hair goes yellow from the sun and may also go a bit yellow from heat styling.. it's nice for someone with grey hair to use purple toned products every now and then and especially in summer

I use charles Worthington sls free purple shampoo & conditioner once a week and have been very impressed. We also have a water filter fitted so maybe that helps too?

I think I have a couple of samples of this brand, they were giving them away on their facebook page. Ive not seen the proper colour of my hair for years, I had mousey brown, I bet its grey now though, lol

This looks like a very interesting product. I have never seen this before.
I have coloured hair in a darker shade but I worry this might bleach it out for it seems rather agressive to me.

It shouldn't. It should only remove the mineral deposits xxx

But then I use serums with silicones for protection so I hope all the minerals will slide off😉🙂

Oh Wow! (Excuse the pun.) Great review. Your hair DOES look brighter and shinier! I wish I looked half that good when I'm ill. I must get this shampoo. Like your Mum, I have naturally white hair and I hate when it gets yellowy. I already use a great product by Color Wow called WOW Dreamcoat that keeps your hair beautifully smooth and frizz free in humid conditions and lasts through a couple of shampoos (2 for me). Check it out. The humidity here in the Midwest is terrible and I have fine wavy hair that frizzes and poofs like cotton candy in humidity. I've used it for over a year now and never had a single negative issue with it. A blow dryer and hot tools haven't hurt my hair one bit.

First ingredient in this stuff is water, I honestly felt like it did nothing. I’ve even gone as far as to leave it in longer than 3 min.
I have naturally white hair, like your mother. I should have waited for her review. Bought the product and have used it 3 times now with no noticeable difference. 🤷🏼♀️
My Mum's hair is lovely. It hasn't taken all the yellow out, as some will be caused by heat from the sun and straighteners, but it's done a really lovely job xxxx
