Gold reviews as always Mojaxx!
im receiving my ones tomorrow, looking forward to getting them!
5 month testing ! That's some dedication 😄
Absolutely love them, a real step up in sound and build.
Been using these for about 6 months. Nothing beats the comfort of these headphones.
Great review and I trust your word Mojax!
Appreciate your wisdom and expertise 👍
Definitely have to get me a pair of these!
Hey Mojaxx what about sound isolation? For me that's a big thing when I DJ ie cutting out room noise when in the mix
thank you for the honest review
At least one other person asked, and you didn't mention it in the review. How are these on isolation?
I have a pair of M50X which I really like so far, but am still looking for something super high end, with possibly better isolation, and a case...
Any feedback as far as how these do with isolation would be much appreciated.
These are very good headphones. I just bought the HDJ-X7 I couldn't afford the HDJ-X10 price. HDJ-X10 is next on the list. Great video.
They are great but be sure your sound source kicks ass. I love the LG V30. Yes they are studio leaning. Mine have been abused for 6years. This new version has lower ohms. It makes a difference.
Damn...I'ma have to check these out
Will you review the Omnitronic 4 channel rotary coming out in September?
"Headphones are like underwear..." lol
No doubt! They will eventually FALL APART.
Big Beats FALL APART waay before they stop BANGING.
They JUST DON'T MAKE headphones LAST how they used to from The Late 80's on BACKWARDS through time. TWO YEARS? I doubt it. Beats came apart at the the cushions around the ears after EIGHT MONTHS though. Never tried these but I BET they'll fall apart ....if not BEFORE 2 years....they will RIGHT AFTER.
You really like to use that word "Superb" lol..... Great review, i always wait on your content. Seems to always cover all the questions i have.
BTW whats up with the mic? Seems to be hearing a bit of an echo in the room.
Are these good enough sound wise to perform well as production headphones and or everyday listening? I love pioneer as a brand I have a pair of hdj 1500 that are a little worn sound wise and I use them as my DJ headphones but I really want a pair for everyday listening and production. Sounds like these might work. Any thoughts?
Thumbs smashed. Good job Chris
Best Report Best headphones ive herd up to yet on my dreem list do they take cash
i own these and yeah the bass isn't humping your face like on other sets of headphones but i agree with Mojaxx the clarity in the top end makes them fun to listen to and crank up. I listen at home, so no djing in noisy environments anymore so i do struggle to not wear out my ears quickly.
I got mine 5 years ago and they still are holding up well.
are they good for casual listening? just like for instance ATH M50Xs? I've read something about one side is sounding different from the other for DJ'ing staff or smthng like that
They're great for casual listening, thats mainly what i use them for now. I just recently got the Vmoda crossfade m100 and they are very nice as well, they were cheaper and are more comfortable. @@ar3726-w2g
I enjoy how you review DJ gear. I am an HDJ 2000 user (in white)... mine are still alive.... but I might make the jump!
Out of interest have yours discoloured?. Mine are now a kinda beige / cream colour on the headband
@@djtimt6871 ironically. I made the jump and for the X10s. The band is a bit discoloured on my white ones. The X10s are a massive upgrade. Massive.
Hi DJcity, Whats diference between HDJ 10x and HDJ7X ?
I just ordered these monsters today. Can’t wait to get them, I have a questions. I also ordered the Roland DJ 202. Will the headphone out be suffice to power these? Or should I get a headphone amp?
Hi J.R. Williams, Im about to buy this 10x or 7x. What about your 10X ?? do they worths it ?? regard !!
Still rocking my HDJ 2000 mk1 but if anything should ever happened to them ... this is what I will get!
How do they compared to the x7?
What about a review about in ear headphone like the boss or beat but affordable that can be good for DJ. I wear glasses and I am not a contact lens user but the over the ear headphones are a bit of a problem some times.
ls4life DLS Definitely on the ideas board for the future.
By far my best headphones to date! Couldn't choose between the silver and black so ended up buying both :)
Where are these cans made?
My hdj 2000 died 2 years after I had them. Are your X-10's still kicking? I was pretty pissed cause there was not much I could do besides buy another pair of headphones and went to the mx-50. My mx-50 is still kicking but they're starting to fall apart.
my nigga Mojaxx!!
Hey Mojaxxx I had 2 of them the one u just did the review and HDJ 500 Now the HDJ X5 Mind blowing yo when I said mind blowing omg I just brought it and I start using it when I 1st got back on my online radio show and this it's my go to headphones. Don't get me wrong the HDJ500 its good too but the HDJ X5 wow I am happy I pick something like this. I got it at Guitar Center and I am pump up and I am a sweaty guy too so this really came in handy. Love the review. Funkup Salute Peace and Love
How are these compared to the Technics EAH-DJ1200? Anybody here used both
Yes why don't people ever talk about isolation?? Stereo seperation is cool though
Are they better then the Pioneer HDJ-2000 ?
Can anyone or Mr Mojaxx comment the sound quality comparing to the X7 or even a Sennheiser HD 25?
I had a HDJ-X7 a few months ago, but sounded rubbish and get rid of it instantly. :S
I love how these sound. they are very good
Jose Lugo would you say these are good listening and possibly producing headphones?
They sound very good , yes you can use it for production. the way the song is produced and mastered is how you hear it in the headphones. I don't own one but i have uses it like three times for half an hour each. also if you want to get something to drown outside noise and let you enjoy your music, this is it. i have the Denon HP800 headphones myself which is ligher and sounds nice but not as clear as these pioneers over all.
I still use my Sony MDR-V700 - I love em!
:Leon :Edwards Considering those used to snap if you just looked at them wrong, it’s a miracle that you still have a pair today!
Great headphones, when they weren’t in pieces...
Yes soon after Sony released them the company acknowledged there was a problem with them. I sent my first set back to them soon after buying them because of a hinge problem and they replaced them with the set I have now. All the black coating on the band and cups has gone. Other then that they sound the same! :) Your review videos are brilliant Mojaxx. For me the best online, nice one bro.
:Leon :Edwards. Those are my favorite headphones of all time! They never lasted for me more than a year or 2 but I absolutely loved them. Wish I could just rebuy those if they were still on the market
These were the best!! Damn durability
My dj buddy lent me his X10's for a gig. I couldn't believe the perfection. Gonna dish out $350 with 0 remorse for this treasure.
how do these headphones sound on the djm 800? or which mixer did you use?
Hi! 2 years later do you still have those?
I probably think he does not
....& then all that off & on!...Boom!...broke my Beats headband!...
what is the diference between the C S and K modles
Cs hifi sealed type
suitable for sound fidelity on a system they have build in hifi amplifiers
Good for gamers and audio junkies
Not made for production or monitoring
With 100 euros you can have a very high grade cs product
K models. For monitor performance and dj use. Much different on ear design suitable to control everything from high to lo
Much more better bass translation on ear
Lighter
Better material
If you want real k experience you are looking price ranges 250-400
If you a dj
Try phonon brand
Thank me later
Yes!.....SWEAT!....Big issue!....whn I was dj'n heavy 2010-14,i didn't realize how hot it got!!..kept taking mines off!
Audio technicas m50X will forever be my babes. sound great and price is unbeatable. I've had them for over a year, heavy use, and no cable ever broke, and they look splendid. Might not be the most flexible, but def cancel the sound out. Just my take if y'all aren't trying to spend 350$ on a a pair of headphones.
Emanuele Ferrero Just got a pair of those in for review last week, as I’ve heard so many good things about them!
Love my m50x ! Price ... clarity... frequencies that it reaches is unbelievable....
I have an M50X pair, and am looking for one more set of super high end cans with a case...
have you found a case that the M50X fit into ?
Just bought some AT M50xs and returned them for Pioneer 7s today. I hated the shrill high end sound of the ATs. Never buying ATs again. I'm not a pro. DJ but I'm an audio
nut from years ago who once also sold pro audio gear retail as well. Maybe for DJing the ATs are great, I dunno, for home use I found them painful.
The M50x are very overrated I’m the regular M50 are better so are the Yamaha MT 8’s
Hello! please tell the inner diameter of X10, vital info for my ears :) thanx!!!
Hummm will stick with me 25s!
Already bought the hdj 1500
those are garbage bro, i had them and never eveb took out of my bedroom and broke where the cups attach to the headband
same story here .. I was totally disappointed with the design of hdj 1500.
Listen to some bass-boosted YT vids and hear how these cans handle deep bass like a champ.
Got the X7s and they are exactly the same, no wear at all!
Still use my Numark REDWAVE
I will update to X7 k
I've had mines for about the same and I've found they tend to sound a bit on the high side still 03:20 hot high garbage. Coming from Beats Pros, the sound is crispier but lacking on the bottom side. Nice case, but damn it took me forever to learn how to fold it up and get it in there. It does feel comfy, just wish it wasn't so much on the trebly side .
I tried them the other day and, in terms of sound, thought they were dreadful for the money. Maybe they need breaking in.
I bet u got some fake ones...
@@JorgeDjManrique Erm no mate. Was in a proper DJ shop.
you sound like Jonathan Ross
Intimidation Blue who knows
The problem with most of these headphones are they are to big.
I hate the look and feel when wearing large size headphones around my neck like a horse collar.
Just got these headphones.... tbh pretty underwhelmed, hopefully there really is a break in period.
Looking at buying them. Did they get any better?
brendan catney yes would recommend
Bought them, wasn't impressed straight away until I plugged them into the mixer. Very very good. I was using Sony ones from years ago which I loved but were at least 18 years old lol.
lol whole time I was finna down grade to the pro 770 or whatever lol
They better slap better than the x7s
2000mk2 kill this in every possible way
The AT M50xs sounded fatiguing from fucking MINUTE ONE. I'll NEVER buy AT headphones ever again. Even at gunpoint!
