I am a woman who is comfortable being alone, but I am not dangerous. I have made it through child abuse, rapes, and an abusive marriage…just to name a few of the reasons why. I do not like drama, nor do I like confrontation. So I actually feel peace when I’m alone. I do show up for family functions, and I faithfully go to church. When my help is needed, I give it; but I look forward to the times when I can quietly be by myself. Can I protect myself and fend for myself at this point in my life? Yes. But I am known for helping people who are in need, and encouraging those who are discouraged. I love solitude! I'm happiest with I am alone. I've been betrayed, and stabbed in the back by everyone I've ever had a relationship with, including my own parents. I was severely abused as a child, (and throughout my adulthood) and I trust no one but God. I feel uneasy around people. I'm an empath, and the generational curse breaker of my family bloodline and I've been rejected over, and over again by them, so I learned at a VERY young age to stay away from them or end up being beaten, cussed and belittled, etc. I learned as early as two to three years old that being alone was what it took for me to survive my crazy, chaotic family. I didn't have anyone to spoil me rotten, I lived in survival mode from my birth, and at 56 years old I'm still living the life of a loner, and I don't plan on changing.

I agree and relate to your life story. My lifestyle is different. My childhood in the 80's era born 1980 grew up as very quiet, shy kid. Once I journey into early preteen to adolescent years... I begin to come out of my shell and start talking more. Usually I talk alot but honestly truth is I didn't like communicating and talk all the time. I can't stand it. Besides that many years have past from my early adult life to present I experience on and off short term dating/relatives that was unhealthy, etc. Involved with wrong men and wrong people who were fake so called friends.. I myself was a caring, supportive, loyal, genuine, helpful, non judgemental understanding, loving friend. I used to allow let others used take of me, physical, mental, emotional abuse. During my youth and adult years I didn't have few people or couple of them including some relatives to give me advice about the outside world and listen to your inner being your intuition. Get a feeling or vibe of people or person I encounter, etc. Before I end this comment/message I admit my life isn't perfect because I am flawed and imperfect like every human. Yes I made lots of mistakes and bad choices, decisions with people, mostly family members who don't care for my well being, etc. To this day I'll continue on learning from my mistakes and take them as life lessons.
