    After watching your tyre dressing video I feel the sonax is the best and makes sense as it’s so easy to wash off as every other tyre dressing you needed to put a fresh coating as none would look good enough to not need another application so you surely need a tyre dressing that is easy to remove to be able to give the best results when applying your tyre dressing
    Great videos and information as always

    All jokes aside, valid comment about the brush stiffness. I find the ‘standard’ white bristle brush too hard for tyre walls, worried what damage it might cause to the tyre walls over time. Prefer the vikan brush, cleans the tyre wall and reduces risk of damage. Use surfex hd for tyre cleaning as haven’t found anything better.
    Plus I hate the sound it makes!

    Another big win for Bilt Hamber fans! Jon this is why i always laugh when i see these garage therapy fans saying how great the wheel cleaner is, they use it but the rubber looks freshly dressed! I real wheel cleaner has degreasing powers....and the wheel comes out looking flat matt if the product did its job.

    I’ve not had great luck with Surfex on bad tyres that have browned and need a good cleaning.
    Have repeated the process 5 times at different dilutions where one application and scrub of Shine Supply Wise Guy cleans them up beautifully.
    Wise Guy purges the oily brown sludge without hassle.

    1 of few times I don't agree with you Jon! 😅
    The tufshine style brush is the perfect brush when it comes to cleaning tyres. The vikan one for me just doesn't offer enough bite although I did find it was great for mild cleaning using shampoo when I had the optimum tyre coating applied & was not wanting to remove it👍
    As for tyre cleaning products themselves, I was always a surfex fan until I tried Autoglanz Rebound. I've ran them side by side using surfex at 1:1 & neat on the same tyre & the rebound half showed considerably less dirt on the tyre after wiping with a MF cloth. Simple test but enough to confirm for me the Rebound is more effective. Still a massive fan of surfex though & will always have a 5L jug in my arsenal.

    • @forensicunplugged4295
      @forensicunplugged4295  3 роки тому +1

      Im not sure if my tuffshine brush is real its so damn stiff it like digs in and sticks to the tyre. Im really not keen its bad to move around. The flat face brush is very soft like you say but for my tyres its ok because they are generally clean.. rebound V surfex.. sometimes surfex can be a bit flat foaming wise. rebound is great, yer fair play maybe its better. Im just one of these guys that likes the least amount of chems, although you wouldnt think it looking at my shelves.

      Yes, lots of things, it's an APC after all - you can use it anywhere you would use Flash or the like. Works good on uPVC, the bathroom, hard floors, windows etc etc. The key is to use it at the right concentrations, it doesn't need to be that strong for most things in the house so a 1% mix will work on most things, 2% on most of the rest. Rarely would you need to go stronger.
