yeah, i kinda wished she had a redemption arc because the writers made it seem like she was. they said that they had to kill off katherine because it was too exhausting for nina to play both roles. but even so, they didn’t need to keep her being evil.
I mean technically elena is Katherine great great great great great granddaughter you think Katherine would have realised that and done everything to protect her?
