I think inlet to the filtration should be connected at the top and outlet from filter at the bottom. Because when u turn off the power due to potential energy stored in filter ,water from the filter flows to tank through the pipe attache to pump at the same time it carries the sedimentary dirt. Also it will be little difficult to notice when sponge need to be cleaned.
Yes, good opinion and I agree with you. If the power off, the water will be back to the tank. Actually, we can subtitute the input and output of the box, just only change the connectors, but I forgot to film it.
Esta versión también me ha gustado mucho es sencilla su construcción pero lo único que no me gusto fue la cabeza de poder la cual la sentí muy débil para ser una bomba de 1000 l/h porque yo tengo una de 600 l/h y parece que me va a arrancar la manguera y los tubos de pvc; bueno tratare de ver que hago ya que eh consultado dos vídeos de su autoría y me han dado buena pauta, Muchas Gracias desde Honduras en Centroamérica.
Deveria corrigir esse projeto. A água entrando por baixo força demais a bomba e não tem a potência máxima. A bimba deve jogar a água por cima do filtro e não por baixo

Video is excellent but instead of clean water you should have used the dirty water and it would have been a great presentation... Nevertheless good try.

No es hate pero veo 2 fallas que me pasaron la primera ves que hize un filtro hibrido a canister sump 1 las uniones o deviciones revisalas por que tienen fuga es mejor usar acrilico 2 es mejor usar llaves
me gustó mucho, lo que no estoy de acuerdo es que utilizó un spray de pintura, me parece que eso puede ser dañino para los peces porque internamente siempre se van a desprender partículas de pintura, podría ser toxico.
