Rewatching this morning...without having smelled it, is it possible Toleen is similar to any of the JPG Classiques? The notes are kind the same and I'm looking at the body shaped bottle.
Hi Kerrie and happy Friday!! So I actually did look into this because as I was studying the notes while testing I did notice some of the notes were very similar. I only have JPG La Belle intense and Divine.... those 2 don't smell like Toleen at all. Divine is in a white florals category of its own.... I LOVE it! and La Belle has two notes that are quite prominent and that can not be found or picked up in Toleen at all: Tonka Bean and Jasmine. La Belle also has vanilla base while Toleen is a Musk and Amber base! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Hi Vida! Thanks so much for letting me know.... Yes you have to let it sit but before you do step outside with the fragrance and spray it 4 - 5 times so the maceration process can start. Mine is quite strong but I have had it for a while.... I also know it will get better! ❤❤❤

If you ever tried Gris Charnel and felt that it leaned masculine on your skin then you may like Antique a bit more as like I mentioned in the video it is a tad sweeter than Gris Charnel! Just know that in the end you will get the exact same vibe and scent profile. To directly answer your question, to my nose Antique does not lean masculine. It is truly a Unisex fragrance and compared to Gris Charnel may. translate to a tad sweeter scent on skin! I have Antique, Toleen and Remas and am waiting for it to macerate. Unfortunately, Toleen smells a bit weird for me... Hard to describe, but it kinda smells partly like paper. Not a fan really. Antique is okay, I am waiting for it to get better with time, right now not impressed. Remas is amazing, I love it!!

I have Antique and it bothered me initially so I let it sit unbothered for 2 weeks and my gosh! That perfume is gourmand done elegantly. I like it better on my husband though. It smells so delicious and really works well with his skin chemistry. I love it so much.

There is a note that used to be used in perfumery a lot but came from a small cat called a Civet, but is no longer legal to use it in its raw natural form but is used in a synthetic form in lot of high end perfumes… Is that the note you were talking about in the first fragrance? I have never (knowingly) smelled that note, but have often wandered what it smells like.

Hi Arahi, I really really appreciate your work especially in this video so informative and you gave every single one its time, usually that doesn’t happen with Arabic fragrances, usually they give it few words in a big haul, so Awesome job keep going 👏🏻 I got Flor oud because of you and I really like it a lot, first impression was oh it’s like a 100s of designer fragrances that I can smell it in Macy’s, but after it set down I really liked it a lot and reminded me a lot of Tom ford soleil blanc so so fresh and easy to wear, perfect for summer day time or vacation, I don’t see it sexy but it’s so nice and the quality is very very good, this is the only bottle I accepted from the Arab fragrances, even I am Egyptian 😁I find their bottle so busy, cheap designs and so much going on 🤦🏻♀️but this one is so different chic and elegant, thank you so much for your recommendation Arahi ❤️

I just got my December Vanille… it’s nice but I think I need to let it sit for awhile. It’s watered down compared to the Kayali one. And there’s an underlying weird note in the opening.

My understanding is that Mughal Fort is similar (or perhaps inspired by) FDB Minuit et Demi. I have Minuit et Demi, but have never tried Mughal Fort. I also have Penhaligon’s Changing Constance and Navitus Raised Spirits. As you can tell I LOVE that scent profile. 😂

Hello and happy Sunday! This is a fragrance that I absolutely love! I would first suggest that you spray it several times and then let it sit for a couple of weeks and try it again on skin! What I get at the dry down from day one is a very sweet fragrance with a soft blend of the other notes to include the florals! ❤️❤️❤️
Ok Gigi so let me tell you!!!! For me, thast entire Khadlaj collection is surreal! There is only one I don't plan to pick up because I have heard it is quite masculine but I may get it for my husband.... that is how impressed I am with that collection. I do have to circle back soon with a full reviewof the others so be on the lookout! In the meantime.... Flor Oud is perfection and I will be super surprised if you don't like it. I am scared to try oud. Is there a nice Lataffa that has a beginner lvl amount of oud? Haha something that perhaps is very light on it so I can get an idea of how it smells? I hear it smells like "rubber" "gasoline" "tires" from a lot of western women.
Well I would say that Oud is one of those notes that do take time getting used to.... it is a nose adjustment journey for sure but once you fall in love there is no turning back! I would say that you are safe to start with any ME fragrance where I have placed the Oud meter at 1 or 2 and described the Oud as smooth! I have quite a number of fragrances that I have referenced. Find one in a scent profile you like and first try it! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

There is character in the fragrance while still being smooth! The 3 fragrances that you have referenced here are LIFE loves for me! I personally can not recommend them enough and for different reasons as they are very different from one another. So I have tried Identity, Rose and leather” After I tried it, I read the three other comments on fragrantica. They were all negative but I strongly disagree. As a long time FM wearer, I was curious about this line. Absolutely love “the moon” so I thought I’d give this a try. Right out of the gate I don’t think it’s terrible. A hit of pepper very quickly to a very fresh rose for me. This did not read synthetic at all smells very natural. I am a grower of roses, so I know of what I speak. Dry down to a geranium with a little rose, does not wear green at all on me. The leather is so subtle that it reminds me of the inside of one of my best leather handbags. Hint, They always smell like fragrance. I got nothing indolic from this. Certainly not BO. Like “the moon”, I find this to be surprisingly well blended. Perhaps mine has been sitting for a while. I can’t wait to see what it’s like now that it’s been opened and started oxidizing. It’s really nice to have a rose that’s not very fruity floral musky. I have plenty of those, and I love them. For me this may be a gateway drug to the real deal. But I’ll be honest it’ll take a lot for me to spend the kind of money on FM anymore. Their fragrance price rise has just been ridiculous. Maybe not a safe blind buy but blind buying anything is risky I think I like this one.

I like the Lattafa umbrella by Maison Alhambra. He is good stuff. Lot of hits from him, for me. But ALL of Lataffa's bottles (packaging) are an art in itself. Theyre all beautiful. I dont understand how theyre making money when it looks like they spent the entire price of their gorgeous fragrances on the presentation alone.

They're taking over, presentation are just mesmerizing and the juices m There's a perfume not to bpopularñ but ooh my goodness is so freaking good. It's call Kalemat by Arabian Oud. Rewatching this morning...without having smelled it, is it possible Toleen is similar to any of the JPG Classiques? The notes are kind the same and I'm looking at the body shaped bottle.
Hi Kerrie and happy Friday!! So I actually did look into this because as I was studying the notes while testing I did notice some of the notes were very similar. I only have JPG La Belle intense and Divine.... those 2 don't smell like Toleen at all. Divine is in a white florals category of its own.... I LOVE it! and La Belle has two notes that are quite prominent and that can not be found or picked up in Toleen at all: Tonka Bean and Jasmine. La Belle also has vanilla base while Toleen is a Musk and Amber base! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

If you ever tried Gris Charnel and felt that it leaned masculine on your skin then you may like Antique a bit more as like I mentioned in the video it is a tad sweeter than Gris Charnel! Just know that in the end you will get the exact same vibe and scent profile. To directly answer your question, to my nose Antique does not lean masculine. It is truly a Unisex fragrance and compared to Gris Charnel may. translate to a tad sweeter scent on skin! I have Antique, Toleen and Remas and am waiting for it to macerate. Unfortunately, Toleen smells a bit weird for me... Hard to describe, but it kinda smells partly like paper. Not a fan really. Antique is okay, I am waiting for it to get better with time, right now not impressed. Remas is amazing, I love it!!

I have Antique and it bothered me initially so I let it sit unbothered for 2 weeks and my gosh! That perfume is gourmand done elegantly. I like it better on my husband though. It smells so delicious and really works well with his skin chemistry. I love it so much.

There is a note that used to be used in perfumery a lot but came from a small cat called a Civet, but is no longer legal to use it in its raw natural form but is used in a synthetic form in lot of high end perfumes… Is that the note you were talking about in the first fragrance? I have never (knowingly) smelled that note, but have often wandered what it smells like.

I got Flor oud because of you and I really like it a lot, first impression was oh it’s like a 100s of designer fragrances that I can smell it in Macy’s, but after it set down I really liked it a lot and reminded me a lot of Tom ford soleil blanc so so fresh and easy to wear, perfect for summer day time or vacation, I don’t see it sexy but it’s so nice and the quality is very very good, this is the only bottle I accepted from the Arab fragrances, even I am Egyptian 😁I find their bottle so busy, cheap designs and so much going on 🤦🏻♀️but this one is so different chic and elegant, thank you so much for your recommendation Arahi ❤️

My understanding is that Mughal Fort is similar (or perhaps inspired by) FDB Minuit et Demi. I have Minuit et Demi, but have never tried Mughal Fort. I also have Penhaligon’s Changing Constance and Navitus Raised Spirits. As you can tell I LOVE that scent profile. 😂

What I get at the dry down from day one is a very sweet fragrance with a soft blend of the other notes to include the florals! ❤️❤️❤️

There is only one I don't plan to pick up because I have heard it is quite masculine but I may get it for my husband.... that is how impressed I am with that collection. I do have to circle back soon with a full reviewof the others so be on the lookout! In the meantime.... Flor Oud is perfection and I will be super surprised if you don't like it. I am scared to try oud. Is there a nice Lataffa that has a beginner lvl amount of oud? Haha something that perhaps is very light on it so I can get an idea of how it smells? I hear it smells like "rubber" "gasoline" "tires" from a lot of western women.
Well I would say that Oud is one of those notes that do take time getting used to.... it is a nose adjustment journey for sure but once you fall in love there is no turning back! I would say that you are safe to start with any ME fragrance where I have placed the Oud meter at 1 or 2 and described the Oud as smooth! I have quite a number of fragrances that I have referenced. Find one in a scent profile you like and first try it! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

There is character in the fragrance while still being smooth! The 3 fragrances that you have referenced here are LIFE loves for me! I personally can not recommend them enough and for different reasons as they are very different from one another. But I can only tell you what has become a LOVE for me.... you need to decide the rest! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

@@ArahiWorld me too they are in the mail. i’m hoping that the portrait of a lady dupe will be different enough from the real deal that I will love it. It’s one of those fragrances that it just smells like chemicals to me like old-fashioned, cheap perfume and I know it doesn’t smell like that because it wouldn’t be his most popular fragrance if it wasn’t great just my nose❤️❤️❤️

Oud cresent is just beautiful, however it leans too masculine for me, and it’s a bit too oudy for me. Smells great on my husband

After I tried it, I read the three other comments on fragrantica. They were all negative but I strongly disagree.
As a long time FM wearer, I was curious about this line. Absolutely love “the moon” so I thought I’d give this a try.
Right out of the gate I don’t think it’s terrible. A hit of pepper very quickly to a very fresh rose for me. This did not read synthetic at all smells very natural. I am a grower of roses, so I know of what I speak.
Dry down to a geranium with a little rose, does not wear green at all on me. The leather is so subtle that it reminds me of the inside of one of my best leather handbags. Hint, They always smell like fragrance.
I got nothing indolic from this. Certainly not BO.
Like “the moon”, I find this to be surprisingly well blended.
Perhaps mine has been sitting for a while. I can’t wait to see what it’s like now that it’s been opened and started oxidizing. It’s really nice to have a rose that’s not very fruity floral musky.
I have plenty of those, and I love them.
For me this may be a gateway drug to the real deal. But I’ll be honest it’ll take a lot for me to spend the kind of money on FM anymore. Their fragrance price rise has just been ridiculous.
Maybe not a safe blind buy but blind buying anything is risky I think I like this one.

Many times when I read the Frag reviews I just wonder if they are referring to the same fragrance I’ve tried…. 😂😂😂😂 I have yet to be disappointed with any of the fragrances within the Identity collection! I like the Lattafa umbrella by Maison Alhambra. He is good stuff. Lot of hits from him, for me. But ALL of Lataffa's bottles (packaging) are an art in itself. Theyre all beautiful. I dont understand how theyre making money when it looks like they spent the entire price of their gorgeous fragrances on the presentation alone.

There's a perfume not to bpopularñ but ooh my goodness is so freaking good. It's call Kalemat by Arabian Oud.
It's woody, thick, sweet just great all around.
Is worth the try.
Is on the pricey side but worth it.

@@ArahiWorld if you're familiar with the discontinued and beautiful Cartier Le Baiser Du Dragon is very similar, Kalemat is more potent and a bit sweeter but in that line.
