We're decibel testing the installation of butyl rubber mat and foam on the floor pan of our Volvo 240 project car. I went with Siless 120 mil thick peel and stick mat and their Siless Liner closed cell foam.

Hey I already have the butyl stiless installed in the floor and roof, and the closed foam you installed here looks extremely interesting!
Q: How well does the closed cell foam stick/ stay stuck on top of the butyl? Especially on the roof, you think it will stay stuck??

Hey thanks buddy - I’m glad you learned some tricks! It sticks darn good unless you stretch it I’ve found. If you pull the crap out of it, it likes to shrink back. I’ve had it installed for over a month with no issues on the firewall vertical surface! Pretty stout adhesive
how thick was the foam, is closed cell foam very soft, did you use mass loaded vinyl ontop of this
