Whampoa Makan Place | Famous Fish Soup, Lor Mee, Hokkien Mee ! | Hawker Eats

This week, we are back at Whampoa Makan Place for a late lunch.
Some history about this place, this site was a former wet market known as Rayman Market which opened in 1952 to serve the former Rayman Estate.
In 1973, it was replaced by Whampoa Market & Food Centre, which was later upgraded to the present Whampoa Makan Place in 2006-08.
Here's what we tried:
1. Amoy Street Lor Mee - Lor Mee ($5).
2. Beach Road Fish Head Bee Hoon - Fried Fish Bee Hoon Soup ($5.50).
3. Singapore Fried Hokkien Mee - Hokkien Mee ($5).
4. Whampoa Soya Bean & Grass Jelly Drinks - Soya Bean Drink ($1.30).
