Fantastic to watch, can't thank you enough for uploading it. Adam Ant is one of my all time favourite performers and his band were brilliant. Double drums, driving beat, great lyrics, excellent guitars, unique sound, sexy front man.
Force of nature back in the day....love the Ants...
I saw them on this 1981 world tour in Sydney Australia and tit was one of the best gigs I’ve ever seen, just fantastic.
best freestyle (non choreographed) dancer I've ever seen
Marco makes the unique sound of the Ants, along with 2 drummers, saw them in the 80s in Los Angeles. Great recording, thanks for this gem of a concert.
ich werde ihn immer mögen.... seid 1980 ,,,, damals war ich 12
These guys are so awesome. Adam was Johnny Depp before Johnny was!
Adam had so much energy.. try dancing and singing the whole song and Adam is not even breathing hard. Awesome performer
Just saw Adam live last night at Foxwoods Casino... The on stage energy he possessed at 64 was amazing and his band was great !!
love this.been an Adam and the Ants addict for 36 years loud and proud.thank you for sharing x
Yes love him sine 1980 ya soooo sexy
Kings of the Wild Frontier was released when I was 16 and I was HOOKED. The most exciting music and incredible lyrics. 42 years later and still happily listening. He was a sexy MF !! 🥰
i loved adam and the ants since i was 12 luv this thx for uploading......
Me too....❤️
@@starlitestarbright514 same here. It may sound odd, but apart from the Prince Charming video, I never saw any video of them back then. So glad UA-cam gives so many people the chance to rediscover it all. And since I got my tube amp and some interesting pedals, I can finally play the exact sound on my guitar too. It is never too late in life to have some fun through music, not ashamed for it AT ALL.
@@arno-luyendijk4798I saw 👀 😳 😍 😭 😐 ❤️ all of Adam Ant 's🐜 🤣 😆 😄 😀 music 🎶 🎵 😀 😳 videos 📹 😀 😳 😄 👏 😉on MTV and later on VH1!We have seen 😀 him 😀 😄 👍 😉 👏 😳 and his 👋 😀 😄 👍 😉 👏 "Dick Clark's American Bandstand "&"Solid Gold " onTV 📺 in the 1970s and! 1980s!
Saw him a few months ago. Still killing it.
Holy mutha fucking shit, what an amazing concert. I haven't seen this before, never had the cash to see them live at the time, certaily not in Japan. I nearly cried watching this.
He was also a great actor...
WOW. Absolutely stellar performance. And my god does Marco f*****g tear it up on that guitar of his! Love 'em all. Thanks so much for posting this! Where I live we only got the likes of Journey or REO Speedwagon on tour 🙄
I love UA-cam, He plays better guitar than I thought.
A Wizard, A true Star..
I'm a Cougar
Adam Ant has to be one of select exceptions
hell of a look hell of an image hell of a sound - loved them in this era me
His performance of Car Trouble in this concert One of my favorites performances of all time and one of my favorite songs of his. As a person who has chosen to drive older/paid for cars all of my adult life, I've experienced a good share of Car Trouble and this song always brought a smile to my face during those times..it would play in my head as if someone had hit that play button on the old cassette player.
Fabulous! Drop dead gorgeous too!
❤😂😮😅😊100%!
I was 18 years old when i decovert this fabolous group....they really play different and special music.
A Top Band who new how to Market itself ! Great Voice ! If Stand and Deliver gets into my head I’m gone. !!!!!! I hope you are all having a great Life Now. !!!!!! TERRIFIC BOYS. !!!! MICHAEL IN MELBOURNE. 👍👍👍❤️
Fantastic strong live vocals
Adam be gettin it!!
I saw them in concert when I was like 17. I was in LOVE with Adam! ❤
No one moves like Adam!! 😊beautiful, he is!
They were truly unique, none else has ever been like them. They are extremely talented and cool As FUCK!
Why did I have to be born in the 80s? I wish I had a time machine.. I would go back in time to this concert lol. I love Adam and the Ants! I need to buy his first album and his greatest hits along with his book Stand and Deliver.
Me too, I was born in the 80s , wish I was born a decade earlier, so I could of enjoyed the 80s and still got to live the 90s music, originally went out the window by 2000s, now I don't know who sings what, all sounds the same
Adam! Ant music! Beat me stupid with this music!
I was never able to see Adam live, but a butt-ton of other bands during the 80's... The Ants were always my fav, simply because it was the most complex stuff to hit my ears at the time. Gotta love UA-cam and everyone who brings this to us, keep finding these gems folks, and a sincere thank you for doing so. Oh, and please find more Oingo Boingo, Depeche Mode and Prince live... tks!
Odd glam rock and "complex"... Lets laugh.
You have to be mad to thumb down this. Simply, one of the best entertainers of that generation and beyond. Basically because of being so influential, I always see bits of Michael Jackson and a lot of big time Pop Music Acts who totally jumped Adam's Train.
Strange how these thing surface out of nowhere when I can't recall them being released as the time..when they should have been.
Thanks for uploading
Saw him with my brother in 1982 at the Greek theatre. Great show!!
Probably the top of their act, best surrounding musicians. Kings of the Wild Frontier . Adam and the Ants ------- Not Adam Ant
Adam Ant-“We’re Not Worthy!”👏🔥🔥
This is better than the Prince Charming revue...great performance and great lead vocals..
Not better - just a different 'movie' :)
I was a great fan multitalented he is great actor too!!!! So handsome loved him as a teenager!!!
First concert I ever went to was Adam and the Ants!
Adam ant is a good singer
THERE NEEDS TO BE A 2HR AT LEAST PROPER FULL DOCUMENTARY ON THIS AMAZING BAND, LOTS OF RARE FOOTAGE WITH INTERVIEWS FROM ALL SURVIVING ANTS PAST & PRESENT TO GET THE WHOLE STORY. ANYONE KNOW OF ANY AT ALL.
What an awesome show!!!! I still LOVE this guy!!!!
Very clever chap indeed, there's lyrics on his Friend or Foe album that point to his musical downfall - he knew he had a limited shelf life but this period was something special. Caught him on tour a few years back at a local venue and it rocked....
