Also GREAT advice on gifted campaigns. The only time to consider these is if you are brand new to collabs and looking to build confidence. Also- how often do PR campaigns lead to paid brand deals for you?
yes I feel the same way! Personally for me, the two are usually unrelated, but I've also not had as much time to pitch specific ideas as I'd like. I think how I'd go about it now might be to create a video featuring the product on my own and send it to the brand to see if they'd be interested in licensing it for ads. That way the content exists already, I was in control of how I created it and there's a chance I could make some money but if they say no, at least I created a great piece of organic content for my audience.
I have a question about gifted and pr. Can you do a contract with them? And limit how long they use your content? Especially since it’s not paid. Or does that ruin the relationship? Should you wait until the next time they reach out? Like I want to work with some but I want to set boundaries as well as limit doing too much.. Gifts and Pr is always appreciated though.
If you’re doing a gifted partnership where they ask for specific deliverables like usage or content I would definitely have them make a contract! If you search contract on my channel I have a video with an influencer lawyer where we talk more about terms to keep an eye out for.
Hi new to your channel and subscribed ...question if you do accept PR and create content..can the brand then use your content? Appreciate your insight!
hi there! In this type of PR relationship I'm describing, the brand wouldn't have rights to use your content in paid media. They may choose to repost you on their stories or their page. I have a few other videos on my channel where we talk more about usage rights and gifted collabs too 💖 thanks for subbing!
@@AustenTosone Hi now that you are on my radar I will be catching up on your content. Appreciate you answering my question that it is ok for PR to repost just not to use in paid media..
Hey, I have a question, so I have almost 100 subs and I have consistently been posting, I wanna try to get pr. Do I have to put an email somewhere, how do they reach out to me, do I reach out to them? Is 100 subs enough to start to get pr or gifted campaigns?
Which brands are you hoping to pitch for PR opportunities this year? Tell me in the comments! 💕
I want to pitch to nars, rare Beauty, Saie beauty, milk makeup, K-Beauty brands!
love this for you! I want to try Saie!
food & drink brands like drink recess or sol-ti, especially to partner with for events that I'm hosting!
@@amandasacks that’s an awesome idea!
Nivea, Plum
I’m interested in including some over 40 skincare products in my content so this was so helpful. Thanks Austen!
I love that idea!

Hi there, I answer the follower question at 13:16 and I talk about connecting with brands at 8:57
To be honest, I would reach out an agency but I have a lot of criteria when choosing a brand and I dont trust that they would respect it
Hey see I have 61 subs but will I still be able to land a PR package thank you so much for the video by the way
Hi there! I answer the follower count question at 13:16 in this video. Hope this helps!
