15:30 is by far my favorite part... Flashing back to our sea-sickening tree sleeping video from a couple years ago brought back so many fun memories! Glad you got the setup dialed now
Amazing adventure Noah - thanks for taking us along for the ride! Hands down the best tree climbing skills we have ever seen (and we’ve seen our share!). And waking up there on Christmas Day! 👌
Did you ever think about some snakes/spiders hiding in the tree, where you put your hands for climbing. Costa Rica has some insects which like to hide in some trees. I‘m just wondering. Nice Video btw. 🔥
Glad your a guy and you can pee outta your tent. I couldn't sleep in a tree. I need the bathroom too much. I think sleeping in a tree would be a cool experience though.
Hey I just left the rope up there to do some climbing on this tree in the days afterwards. Would have done double rope rappel to get the rope all the way down!
That's sad. A bad adventure is still an adventure. Beats rotting away at home. You learn from previous mistakes and try to do better next time. When you're old, you won't look back and think of the bad moments. You'll remember the adventures.
cold, hunger and pain make you feel your body, remind you you are alive and you have a body to feel your life with. also, when you return to the comforts of your home you value things more.
dude, zombie apocalypse ? you're the guy I would come to for shelter set up haha. This looks so safe and cosy. Some primal monkey instinct in me just loves this
I’ve been watching a ton of solo camping videos, calculating risks, and wondering if camping in a tree would be safer. I was also curious about how it’s done, and then this video popped up on my algorithm lol. So cool!
amazing video! shocked to see it has only under 1000 likes. not that thats not much, but the quality is really 10/10. loved watching this one. made my morning :)
idk how you retrieved your canopy anchor as i saw you repelled down on srs, but, in tree climbing for arborist work we use retrievable friction savers. Two different size rings that reduce friction in canopy when working then when you come down you tie a knot in one end and when you yank the rope down it grabs on the smaller ring and retrieves the anchor!
What a vid mate well done mate love the tree tent seeing it gives me something to get my teeth into and research as I love all things camping unfortunately an old guy in the UK kinda beat you to it check out Patrick Dickinson tree camp he is a bit more wallace and gromit though but an absolutely lovely guy bless him also the classical music you used at the end was also used for a BBC documentary in the 80's following a north of england steeple jack called Fred Dibner he stole the hearts of the nation after the documentary series and became a national treasure right up to his death of old age not that long back seeing what you're into definitely check ol' Fred out anyhoo mate I've subbed and will check all your vids out keep up the good work atb from Lancashire UK 😀👍❤
just liked and sub'd - Wow!!...what a great adventure... sleeping in the rain...in a tent,..suspended in a rainforest canopy....in Costa Rica!!! .. on Christmas eve !!.... Pro tip, I've used a couple of Neodymium fishing magnets for bringing up gear when solo climbing/camping. It saves ya repel/climb trip back - Ya just need to position your gear tote with the magnet in an outside pocket and then drop a rope with another magnet attached and CLICK!! it's like fishing !
This was so neat to watch! My stomach was doing flip-flops watching you climb up! That has to be an amazing feeling being up in the canopy like that. Thanks so much for sharing this!
Advice with your strips, pull tight and then leave in place like 1 click so it doesn’t move then set all your sides and then ratchet from there if you ratchet straight away you end up getting stuck on strop instead of pulling tight and
He's done it! A different tree I believe, but the same kind. Search his channel for a video called "Climbing My Hardest Ever Tree Climb... Without Ropes"
I really enjoyed the video and I have only one concern, do you know that slings are a piece of static equipment? It's not supposed to be used as an anchor if you know you are going to climb above it and it wil break if you fall on it factor 1+ fall). Use a piece of dynamic rope or other dynamic equipment for better safety, especially when your ascending above the anchor point.
10/10 use of free will
Hard out good on the cuz

Love this kind of content, my toes were tingly just by watching you climb
Me too bruh😮
bare foot? Id be afraid to stick my hand in those holes lol.. this is awesome dude good job
For the amount of venomous snakes found in Costa Rica, that's probably a top 3 thing I wouldn't do lol
YES MORE TREE CLIMBING!!!!
Tree climbing is the coolest. Loved doing at as a kid, we all did! But dang you out there living and its truly inspiring.

The vine climb was cool. Looked super fun and exposed
Cool looking tree. Rainforest is a remarkable place. Crazy that your climbing it,to camp in. Not once but twice!
Glad your a guy and you can pee outta your tent. I couldn't sleep in a tree. I need the bathroom too much.
I think sleeping in a tree would be a cool experience though.
Man you know he just did this for fun. Love it so much man
You are such a chill person, i like the mood you brought to me through this video, definitely worth subscribing
Thanks!
What method did you use to get the last rope down? Thought you'd have an ATC and both ropes around a branch for the last rappel
Same! I really hope he replies :)
Hey I just left the rope up there to do some climbing on this tree in the days afterwards. Would have done double rope rappel to get the rope all the way down!
Watching this in the comfort of my bed and my toes are curled from the utter anxiety of the POV tree climb omfg
I sometimes want to do things like this, but then i realise that I would be miserable and cold. Watching other people do it is enough for me
L mindset
Nah, i could do this. I just don't feel like it. Honestly i should take his channel and improve it @@agario5161

Never heard of tree camping, it’s so cool! Just getting into backpacking myself, but now I wanna get into this haha. Nice video

Just watching the first minutes - Noah, did you have to worry about vipers and other more.... 'adversarial' fauna in those nooks & crannies?
That’s what I was thinking the entire time, just imagine a spider or something crawls out onto ur hand
Of course it's something to watch out for. Most creatures will hear you coming and don't want to mess with you
This was literally so cool! I didn’t even know people did this. Thank you!
What an awesome experience. To be in the canopy for a nice rainstorm. Id love to do that in New Caledonia to enjoy all the wildlife up there.
thank u for bringing me back the memories and feeling of climbing tall tree sensation. pheww
I'm curious on how did you get that camera angle at 4:09 😯
Yea
Reminds me of all the days and nights when I was ropeclimbing CostaRican rainforest trees in search of arboreal spiders and other critters. Cheers.
This is some of your best work. I love you man. 🎉🎉🎉🎉

I love seeing videos like this, I want to go to the forest every day, greetings from a hobby, bro, good luck greetings from a beginner
Balls of steel 🎉
I'm too scared camping in forest alone but this would be a great experience to do. I definitely want to try this
This is the coolest thing. I hope i will be able to do this one day. Awesome video. Also that tent comes in clutch
Such a fun adventure! Hope you can manage something like it one day!
Man my palms started sweating and I was feeling nervous just watching 😂
You are so calm up there. I wonder if I can do something like that with my fear of heights.
Man you are so braver
You have inspired me to get into climbing, do you have any videos that cover your necessary and standard knots for climbing, deserved a sub
Wow oh my God🎉
Added to my bucket list!
Thank you very much for another cool video unfortunately we don't have those nice trees in Germany😂
Love this kind of video. Yo Din hope u watching this.

Perfect skill for zombie apocalyse ( asuming zombies can't climb )
Bravo!
What a sick adventure dude, I wish I did it with ya
Really cool 😎
Ummm...I think I'm afraid of heights.. 😂 Great video
You should try one of those inflatable portaledges. I'd be curious how they compare to the tensile tent in a tree canopy

How you can reach and untie the rope on the tree now that you're on the ground?
Geat video man
What was that sound at 14:19 😮
He's in my country lets gooo
I thought dude was about to free solo this thing when I saw the title😂😂 that’d be insane

He basically free solo’d it, he only used 1 piece of protection.
This is awesome!! I just wonder...how did you go to the toilet? Did you rappel down and climb back up?
this is literally my dream
Wow 😢😮
ughhh I would love to do this, so so so beautiful and fun
Hope you can one day!

As a Mexican…I approved that dinner ❤
dude i love your mushroom mug ^^ also how did you get into climbing? it seems really nice to be in nature like that

20:01 climbing down with only socks crazy
How do you get the rope back from the top of the tree, do you leave it up there?
next video will be you and the wideboyz crackclimbing on trees ;)
the best part about this is that no one told him to do this
🐒 that's pretty cool.
The amount of sweat in the palms of my hands rn
Where is the bathroom in case you have to go ?
4:07 did you climb the tree, position the camera, climb down and climb back up to get this shot? im confused
