"We've finally meet face to face, Commander. I've been waiting for this moment... I'm going to gut you and your mech, just like I did to your father." -Andreas Kane, Black Inferno Leader
*laughs in kite as I dodge his shots while my lance of triple atlas rip him to shreds in 3-4 full salvos of missiles, AC/20BF and LRM 6, my Dragon DRG keeping his missiles off me with double AMS
My first time doing that mission I wound up headshot killing him the instant he rounded the corner (so I got to hear his boasting and monologue even after he'd been reduced to little more than a puddle of scorched red paste) and my AI lancemates were so skilled that they pretty quickly shredded the other 'Mechs while I made for evac. That was one of the very few times I've managed to kill a King Crab with a headshot while leaving the rest of it mostly pristine. IIRC, I was also using Nikolai's Victor, because I felt like it would be poetic justice to kill Nikolai's murderer with Nikolai's old 'Mech that was now back in his son's hands, where it belonged. Then in my second campaign playthrough it happened *AGAIN* with me immediately pasting Kane with a headshot, but this time I was using my own personal Battlemaster. Kane just can't catch a break with me! :P
Классная композиция, странно что за всё время в игре она только 1 раз звучала, очень понравилась, её можно даже ставить в 1 ряд с Монолитом, тоже супер крутой трек )

And then my co-op lancemate instakilled him with random headshot form two gauss Rifleman. It was very funny but also a bit disappointing
Met this patricide perpetuating pissbucket on the field in this mission.
Me and my King Crab had a nice debate with 'em.
He didn't win.

Fun fact: killing Kane is not the hard part, the hard part is not dieing before, during, and after that
Made much easier by allowing us to switch 'Mechs mid mission.
