I do apologize for not elaborating correctly on the matter. I will try to explain better this time. I was able to clear the login password through Kali Linux on the system after multiple attempts. Thank you for that. While doing so I removed the account as the “administrator account” to “guest account”. I tried to add it again as an administrator account through Kali Linux but unable to add it for some reason, Do you have a step by step process I can follow to add the account back as an administrator?
@@fahadulhassan1850 You can enable Admin account to restore account permissions. In this video, you will find detailed instructions on how to enable the hidden administrator account on Windows 11,10, 8, 7 or Vista based computer, by modifying the Windows Registry Offline in case you cannot login to Windows by using another account with admin rights. ua-cam.com/video/ELqeB3-Jld8/v-deo.html
As stated you can enable USB from bios. May be necessary to reset bios password (it's not that hard). The only real way to defeat this kind of attack is to use bitlocker. Bitlocker will prevent kali (or anything else for that matter) from reading the data on the hard drive.
@steelrainwarrior, right, so this is my issue. Disabled secure boot in BIOS and then the infamous bit locker enter recovery key window appeared. Now it's game over 😢
This worked for me! Thank you so much!
You are very welcome!
Unfortunately it still asks for admin password while trying to remove items in the system. Any way to bypass that?
Hiren's BootCD PE also have tools for resetting local user password.

If boot from USB is disabled then what? This method will not work.
