Here’s an idea, get all the Mercedes drivers together (new-old) and have them have a GT3 race (advert) or a charity race for 2024, ~ with the car .
Is GT2 better than GT3?
@@StrangerHappened The GT2 cars are classed faster (more HP engine) than GT3 cars however the compromise with GT2 cars that GT3 cars don't have is that the GT2 cars like this has not that great brakes and the aerodynamics of the GT2 doesn't have that much good aerodynamics since they are focusing on faster laptimes. The positive for GT2 cars is that they are powerful than GT3 cars. The GT3 is a better class than the GT2, making it suitable for amateurs however.
So GT3 cars are great for road/track racing, GT2 cars are great for lap time track racing.

@@Endorion_YTCMore power more fun to watch? I mean doesn't faster lap times mean an overall better race to watch so GT2 should be better than GT3
As an avid track day driver and time attack champ I can honestly tell you these cars will NEVER see any real track time . They will be locked in away in garages and a few may see a road course on a private circuit far away from anything that could help a driver grow. Like being on track with other cars, understanding how to pass and move through traffic.

@@Kpaxlol So from what I know the GT2 PRO is the non-homologated version for 'track days'. and just the normal AMG GT2 is the homologated actual race car.
@@olischwarz2912 I just saw the 'complete' list of cars coming for the GT2 DLC on ACC Reddit. This and the Audi look so amazing and brutal. Even more stoked now than before. Hopefully we'll get a track with it
@@Deicide6666 Yeah they'll be amazing. Slower than the GT3 cars in corner but faster on straights will make almost similar lap times so having 2 classes almost in sync will be a lot of fun. Nurburgring won't come with this DLC but yeah hopefully something else
Does this still use the m159 like the amg gt cars of the last few years ?
The GT2 PRO uses the famous AMG M178 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine, which is also used in the C190 GT Black Series, GT Track Series and GT2.
