The transition from 'we worked at in and out burger' to 'my Mom died' is the most abrupt yet perfectly timed comedy I've seen in a while.
The story went from "we worked together at In-and-Out" to "I used to live in your (mom's) house!"
@@1337-Nathaniel I mean that could have just been how they first met
“Fuhck” really sealed it in 😭😭
Wth are you talking about, that was such an easy set up
@@sierrarose1512 My comment was illustrating the fact that there was a major tone switch from working at in and out burger, to her Mom dying. My comment never specified anything being easy, so I don't know where you got that idea.
Jacob's reaction with the soft, "Fuck" was so funny
Like 1k 😅
I love that you can hear the entire crew behind the camera crack up when he says “fuck” and puts his head in his hand
And Zac trying his best to not lose his shit right there
that "Fuck" was very real!
And then Sam just busts out laughing
That “please don’t, you’re gonna make me cry and I can’t do that right now” FELT REAL LMFAO
IT REALLY DID OMFG
I fr was like, why dont they stop the skit shes emotional, next second, god im an ideot 😂😂😂
@@Reilophonix improv and acting in general can blur the lines of "real" when conditions are right. You can't draw your inspiration from nowhere. If it made you feel something, that seems pretty real to me ❤️
My mom DID just pass away (okay it's been nine months but it still feels recent) and it really got me
yo dude I was thinking that though 😂
They don't show it in this clip, but my favorite part about this bit is that when Jacob is listing his demands, he make an in-n-out order, and THAT'S when Vic recognizes him, and adds the backstory that they used to work at in-n-out together, which is why Vic recognized him at that exact moment.
omg i never noticed!
I got to start watching full episodes
@@SeanLaMontagne the best 6 usd you will ever expend
Wait that’s brilliant
Missed out on greatness.
The subversion of “she passed away”
That's my favorite part of the improv. Vic could've said the easy, most likely answer of "She's doing good" and maybe elaborate on that, but they took a hard right turn and it makes it so much better
@@riverbailey8184 I agree, that gave me whiplash.
She pasta way

This is how all hostage situations should be done in crime-dramas
There’s an episode of Brooklyn 99 where it’s exactly like that
It's more crime-comedy drama....
They kind of did this in Brooklyn 99.
I was about to say what everyone else did lol
What episode
Reminds me on the one judge who prosecuted a man she went to middle school with that was extremely nice to her. He was so happy but then reliesed he messed up his life and cried on the stand
Uggh! Brutal
We're can I find that

"sir can you hold on one minute please?"
"f*cking one second bro"

My introvert ass: "I-i'm sorry, keep going"

lost her job...but gained a friend lol
We are reconnecting here man
Why did the hostage die tho
The way I would start crying over someone’s fake dead mom who took in needy kids 😭🤡
And that's how you know.... they are GOOD at what they do! This was an awesome clip.
This clip was somehow touching, and its a dang skit
I swear my eyes started watering
Lmao me too! 😹😹😹
@@rolandeak mine too! But only one eye and it was my left lol
As always, Zac makes the perfect punctuation mark for any sketch.
He kinda looks like: "oh crap I died" *dies*
Zac is a genius. You cannot convince me otherwise. Doesn't miss a beat.
"he makes the punctuation" is a perfect analogy for Zac's "less is more" approach. After all, "he died." and "he died?" and "he died!" are very different things.
If he's in a sketch and says more than one line then he's a question mark, if he says 1 line then he's a an exclamation mark and if he doesn't say a word then he's a semicolon.
crap, now I'm invested in this bit. WHAT WAS ON HER WILL!? 😭
Agreed
I don’t think it matters if he just killed a dude. There are cases where you can still inherit from prison, but it’s unlikely.
@@pheonixrises11 but it matters to us
Ink.
@@pheonixrises11 well, the inheritance pre-dates the crime.
This reminds me of that one scene from Brooklyn 99 with Doug Judy
Which one? That dude is the best.
God, I miss 99. So damn good!!
@@jimwormmaster when jake was a hostage negotiator I’m pretty sure oh wait no they’re definitely talking about when jake was transporting him to prison that makes more sense
I immediately thought the same thing
@@ussxrequin Right?! I love that it went out on a good note, though.
Next level. Turns out the hostage is related to the negotiator
Lol
He's the long lost brother of the negotiator's mother
Next next level - the hostage is the hostage taker.
Not related, more like took him in/ gave him a place to stay
@@Tellysayhi that’s the taker
“She passed away.”
“Fuck.” “She was fuckin special.”
Imagine seeing someone who's mom let you live with them and their mom even wrote about you in their will and they sum up your whole relationship as "we worked at in-and-out together"
Tbf I often shorthand my relationships by how we met when I'm explaining to other ppl, so I probably wouldn't take too much offense there.
The trauma bond of fast-food work runs DEEP man
Not them shooting the hostage
Then what is it
@@ryanhernandez8324 nah man it’s slang, they just mean it’s funny
@@ryanhernandez8324 not you not understanding
@@ryanhernandez8324 It's AAVE. And that's on a period.
@@trenvert123 Is it AAVE? I'm white but I live in the South and they're 1/3 here so I had no idea. AAVE is essentially just the lingua franca here.
For real, the episode with the most backstory, both in quantity, and length of each of them
went from "we worked at in n out together" to "oh and my mom also gave him shelter and loved him like a son when he was out on the streets as a troubled teen" real quick lmao
That may be how they met, sort of Tom Hagon and Sonny Corleone situation.
The distraught "fuck" in response was so good 😭😭
This was BRILLIANT improv, the "yes and"-ing was PERFECT
Both of them put out the best improv acting I've EVER seen on this show for this 🤣🤣😭😭
He managed to get the entire production crew to laugh audibly in the background
You could see that he was about to take it on more of a annoyed route, but the second she brings up In and Out, the relationship is established as amicable and friendly and it just gets better from there.
holy SHIT! the “please don’t, you’re gonna make me cry” along with the face and body language, it feels so real! such great improvisation! that’s not even to mention the “she was fucking special!” with a hint of wavering drunken sadness, ugh! so good!
I love how some of the funniest clips on this show, you can faintly hear all the people behind the camera just lose it.
It’s a subtle but cool detail
She should have ended with. “And in the will, you know what she left you,…. A helicopter.”
*They
But yeah that would've beem funny. Or even a "How abouy we get some In-and-Out?"
I love that you can hear the crew laughing in the background
I love that the hostage says nothing yet they both basically tell him to shut up
his exasperated “fuck” felt so genuine
"Ah she passed away"
*"AH FUC-"*
Zac’s little smile as he realizes he’s being killed is gold. He was not expecting that lol
the noise boys are great, but I love these three together the most
35 years of non-existent memories gained in about 54 seconds
I love how he has Zac as a hostage and he's just like "give us a minute" where is Zac going🤨😂
Make some noise is seriously the BEST fucking show ever. Vic KILLED IT in this ep and this scene specifically sends me every time i watch it
this was like my favorite bit this episode
Which episode is this
@@alessandrovitone3161 The Latest one!
@@jackfarnsworth791 when did it come out? The most recent one I see is survivor?
@@blaisetruesdell9924 It's a spin off series called make some noise
This clips out the context of "working at in and out together" because one of the hostage demands was Animal Style fries
This prompt could become an entire youtube series
When Zac goes down “it’s fine it’s just one less thing” lmao this is gold
Dude, I was on the verge of tears. Holy shit, these guys are crazy talented😭
Her mom literally adopted him and she introduces him as "Evan and I used to work at in-n-out together" 😂
This would actually be really good for a negotiation, to already have a connection to them being able to be friendly and have them listen to you
shame she let the hostage die on her first job though
Why does it feel so natural and real WTH THE FEELS 😂
when she said "oh she died" i fucking LOST IT 😭💀
I'm far too invested. Please turn this into a college humor skit with the same people because they did such a good job! The "please don't, you're gonna make me cry and I can't do that right now" felt waaay too real XD
I like to imagine that all these improv bits take place in the same universe, and that it's just filled with hilariously tragic characters
This cemented Jacob as one of the funniest guys ever, for me.
This actually made me start tearing up when they started crying
That disappointed "Evan-nuh.." got me! 😆😂🤣
The hostage: *baby I’m not even here, I’m a hallucination*
I’d like to see this idea played out in a dramatic sequence where a hostage taker breaks down at the thought of a long lost friends mother.
The silent *fuck* when she says her fictional mother died is just beautiful
The “Fuck” was so good, idk how they were t dying after that lmao
Stage crew died laughing in the back ground killed me
Such a good crew, hilarious prompt and they absolutely killed it
Zac looks really amused for a hostage 🤣
The fact that they come up with that on the fly is amazing
Wait, but the idea of a mom who takes in troubled kids, and those kids are actually good at heart, but life led them to making some dark choices, and then realizing the consequences of their actions after a reunion with the mother’s biological child, who also worked with them at the same part-time job (most likely through the suggestion of the mother, who wanted them to work there to understand the meaning of hard work, and the patience it requires to work in the service industry) - that shit is actually so touching to me, and it’s all make-believe 😅😭😭😭
"..thing for you in her will" *GUNSHOT* "oh my god thats so sweet i cant believe she'd do that" 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
RESPECT THE SIDE BAR
Vic is amazing, they're both so good here :o
The mom sounded like such a beautiful person. RIP hostage negotiators mom who let Evan live with her.
That little crack in his voice, when he asks the hostage to chill and give him a second. Somebody give that dude a hug
Then the negotiator’s mother was the teacher of the hostage or something
This is such a touching story, and I love it
Jacob's whispered "Fuck...." and that perfect comedic timing is what finally cracked me to get a Dropout subscription 🤣
Whoever comes up with the prompts needs their own separate Oscar
This is one of those bits I really want to see played out further
Evan: "How's your Mum?"
Negotiator: "She passed away."
**Sitcom laugh intensifies**
Such an emotional story at such an awkward time
this one gets to me soo much bc these two characters are living a very dramatic, emotional moment but it's wrapped up in the absurdity of a hostage situation. just makes me think about the layers of comedy
Idk what it is but somehow hearing the crew crack up makes these so much better 😄
Dude, why did I almost cry? Holy Moly
The new guy is hilarious!!! Timing is impeccable
The ability to create a whole movie sideplot beginning to end and have it actually sound really entertaining is such an amazing skill
This was amazing. We need this kind of chaos on the silver screen. First trillion dollar movie ever. I’m watching it in theaters until my wallet cries.
The quiet “fuck” sends me everytime 😆
This is one of the funniest Game Changer scenes I've ever seen.
This is without a doubt my favorite make some noise short on this channel. I’m actually obsessed with it, it kills me every time I watch it
“ How many times did you watch this”
me- yes
once he said "aw shiet" I knew it would go somewhere but when it's like "she passed away" then I dropped laughing
We all NEED to see a full version of this.
Zac absolutely breaking neck muscles trying not to audibly laugh 🤣🤣
This felt like a stanzi short XD
Kinda got me teary.
They “yes, and”ed the fuck out of this and it’s hilarious
We need to give major props for the writers who write these prompts cuz they’re all amazing
They were being so serious and then Zac did the goofiest death ever
I'm just gonna pretend the ending was something like: - inheritance reveal was big bucks and super heartwarming - broke hostage taker down in tears - hostage negotiator aggressively handcuffed the hostage taker, revealing everything was a ruse.
Just the "..fuck" made this entire scene so fucking emotional and sad.
Jake is actually such a good actor.
I was half expecting Zac to chime in and recognize the hostage negotiator.
Yeah I'm gonna need a part 2 to find out what was in that will...
the way it went from "we used to work together" to "her mom let me live at their place" to "actually, you are in her will"
the only thing that was missing was like "she left you a helicopter" to bring it full circle
Why do I have tears in my eyes. Is it from laugher or is this emotion😭😂
This is soo good now I want to know the whole story 😂
Man i wanted to see how it ends.
Everyone's having an emotional talk.
The hostage in the back crying silently.
I got emotional. A complete story was told here.
