I followed your series with bated breath! I'm so glad you're on this platform.
I'm sorry you lost the pregnancy with WhoTFuMarried. But if I as an Internet stranger could ever be so bold as to characterize that loss as its own blessing, I hope I can add to your peace.
Your voice is so vital! Your lived experience had me alternating holding the sides of my face and clapping my hand over my open mouth, gasping.
I always figured I'd adopt a child maybe in my 50s when I was calmer and more stable. Now that I'm in my 50s and have soft-launched a step kid, I'm thinking about fostering. But I'm also thinking about traveling and retirement. Talking it out here right now, I think the most bandwidth I have is for Big Sisters.
I've never thought you need to raise your own blood to be a good parent to someone. My closest 'parents' and role models were outside my own family.
I look forward to seeing where you take your channel!
