Honda CT70K0 engine - First start in ages!

I really enjoy these “Will It Run?” videos. It’s fun to see an engine come back to life, after sitting for many years. Thanks for following along!

Hopefully, only a few more weeks on the house. Amy broke a bone in her foot and had to have surgery yesterday. So, I’m taking a few days off to help her get adjusted around the house. She’s 6+ weeks with no weight on that foot. 😳

Apparently, you’ve never set one on fire? It’s a daily occurrence in my shop. They burn quickly and then out, nothing to get worked up about. 🤣

I like the engine stand. Is it only a coil or is there a CDI plugged in?

This is an original 6v Honda engine. It’s has points / condenser, no CDI.

I had a CDI in mine. Nothing but problems. Went back to points and the bike runs stronger than ever.
