Rode on a plane with Tony probably 1983, did not know who he was but later 1990 ish he came to me at ann arbor ark at intermission and he remembered me. I play guitar and trumpet and he encouraged me to stay with the horn too which did. What a great experience of a lifetime

I just bought the Bluegrass Alliance album "New Grass" that was released in 71. But it doesn't have any credits on it. Does anyone here know if Rice and Bush on are that record? I know they were only part of the Alliance for a few years...

Would have to be 1971. Tony Rice left the Alliance in the fall of '71 to join J.D. Crowe.
