with the correct angling, you could bound an 88. the E8 has 130mm frontal armor plus the effective thickness that came with angling. That shot in the side though, would have caused it's fuel tanks to explode.
+Dex does Computers When an Easy eight isn't frontally penetrating a tiger's non-sloped armor when historically they were perfectly capable of doing such from hundreds of meters away, then it's time to get over the wehraboo tears and accept that the movie isn't really focused on realism so much as story telling. Realistically the tiger fight would have been ended the moment the shermans got a fix on the Tiger's position and let the two 76mm upgunned shermans punch through the tiger's hull. That was literally the entire reason the E8's existed.
+The Diamond Hero Nope, the E8 had barely more frontal armor than a regular sherman (63mm to be exact, plus slope), but the transmission cover reached up to 100mm thickness (earlierst shermans had 62mm on both front glacis and transmission). If the shot hits the right part of the transmission cover it can still bounce an 88 with some luck, but i wouldnt bet on it. But on the other hand a 76mm gunned sherman could penetrate a tiger from the front at this range at least half of the time.
+Jack R actually, the version in the movie (and this video) has a 76mm AT gun, and it was made for killing things like tigers and it is good enough to go through the tiger's armour.
Jack R but what about the tiger's side armour (pretty much flat 80mm) at point blank range like in the movie? because, well, you said that the main gun wouldn't do anything anyways so the sherman might as well fire it's Machine gun. it could very easily penetrate it from the side like that.
+Mighty Wolf It took the British to take off the Sherman's turret and shove a 17-pdr on the tank to make it effective at killing tigers, the standard M4A1 sherman guns could only penetrate the rear armour, and they lost lots of tanks doing so
AcridCrowd but the easy 8 which is the fury is not a standard M4A1 sherman with the low velocity 75mm (3 inch) gun, it's a tank based around the british sherman firefly (that you mentioned) but it doesn't have the 17pdr (76.2mm) gun, but rather a 76mm gun. and this gun was much better than the M4A1's gun, and while it wasn't quite as good as the british 17 pdr it was still capable of penetrating tigers, certainly at those ranges. also, the side & rear armour of the Tiger is 80mm thick and the angle of it doesn't vary by much, so, you know, if they could penetrate the rear then they could penetrate the sides as well.
+KamiKaZantA Thats true. He was in good concelment and with an expercienced crew got have gunned down one or even two other Shermans before they even realised where the fire came from That crew just put their tank in an unnessecary risky situation which wasnt the German doctrine at that time. But hey, its a film...
+Robz Logic says to move backwards. One, you have been discovered, you lost a significant advantage, fall back. Two, moving forward towards an enemy while you are semi-blinded is bad. Three, if you move behind they smoke the fired, it is just as hard for them to aim as you are to aim at them.
+KamiKaZantA cuz the closer the tiger is the higher chance it gets to penetrate the armor but still when the fury sherman was tryin to get behind it the didn't try to rotate the tank, that what doesn't make since ..
Totally inaccurate: Americans it's this: tiger calmly guns down 2 Shermans, rifle squads with bazookas fail to pen even at point blank range, last Sherman shoots tiger in the ass, pens but does minimal damage, tiger kills last Sherman. With the Soviets however: Tiger advances, conscript horde rushes tiger from the sides, peasants hurl their mighty AT grenades for the glory of Stalin, tiger takes a chunk of damage and it's engine is damaged, no big deal most of your health is still there, suddenly wild T34s appear, tiger shoots one, takes hit but glorious stronk T34 can still go, the damaged T34 rams the Tiger in the name of the Soviet union, engine is totalled now, the other T34 runs circles around the Tiger shooting it, turret can't track the other tank, and then an SU-85 pops in for some surprise butt sex

+RevanBladeZ They made MG-42 hull machine guns too, just not specified which tank had them. Someone in the workshop can probably modify the machine gun mount as well.
+Alexandre Drouin At less than 100 meters of distance the 76mm M1A1 gun of the M4A3E8 could pen a Tiger and probably go though it. In fact the M3 75mm gun of the regular M4 series could pen its sides at such a short distance. Honestly the Tiger's crew wouldn't have even been able to really work after the 1st hit from the German. The rounds would have shaken the crew, the 101mm of armor on a Tiger's front wouldn't absorb the shock of a 75mm AP round hitting your tank at pretty much point blank. You'd get a bad headache and find doing anything to be very hard. The Tiger is hit three times, with 4-5 more shots landing close. Even a well disciplined Tiger crew would be hurting and becoming worried because surprisingly, humans don't like getting shot at. Hell with the 2nd or 3rd shot which came from M4A3E8 or the M4A1(76)W would combat killed the Tiger. By 1944, the US had standardized the M93 High-Velocity Armor Pricing shell. The M93 could penetrate a Tiger's frontal armor at 1000 meters, which was around the max range of most tank battles in World War 2, with about 500-700 meters being the average. At the distances in Fury, the Tiger is less than 200 meters at the start. The M93, at 200 meters, could go though 225+mm of hardened steel at that distance. The HVAP was a highly common shell with the US Armor Forces in Europe, while the Marines and Army in the Pacific used the regular AP rounds or just plain HE when dealing with Japanese Armor. The battle would have ended with a single Sherman lost and a Tiger knocked out. However if this was real life, after the Shermans would fire like 20 rounds into the Tiger, they'd then advance to find out it was a Panzer IV Ausf. H with its applique armor or something. US Armor Forces only engaged Tigers like 3-4 times in all of World War 2. The British and Canadians engaged them a bit more if I remember, but the British and Canadians also had the 77mm HV gun, the QF 17 Pounder, and the M1 76mm gun. Most Tigers went and died fighting T-34s and IS-1/2s in Eastern Europe.
I didn't say that the Sherman couldn't get the Tiger but that spécific shot was pretty wrong ! I agree that the Tiger wasn't invincible contrary to what alot of people think. Even the front armor of the Panther was more effective.
+hoy455 actually most Tigers died while driving to fight the T-34's. IS-1/2's are more controversial since according to accounts the Tigers kicked their asses!
Because Hollywood xD We could also ask : Why the fuck did the Shermans tried to charge a Tiger head on withtout air support when the allied had air supremacy over the western front.
***** Well sure, but the situation in the video would more than likely lead to less Sherman casualties in War Thunder since two of them can cleanly pen a Tiger at that range.
In War Thunder, if a Tiger tries to hull down that close it'll just have its cupola shot at, taking out the crew in the fighting compartment (since a 76mm M62 shell can penetrate the cupola once but not overpenetrate itself out the other side, and when it detonates it only has one way to go-downwards). Same if it tries to angle (and that's if the Tiger doesn't suddenly made itself a lot more combustible by exposing its ammo-lined sides). If it takes down one 76mm Sherman the other 76mm Sherman still has time to aim (and pull a second shot before the Tiger reloads if it fires immediately after the Tiger fires). Plus the 75mm can try to pull a flanking shot. This comes from playing as both Tiger and Sherman. The Tiger is powerful, but it's far from an invincible tank. Its gun can oneshot Shermans and other tanks of the same tier but it reloads slowly and has very poor maneuverability. A Tiger fighting in close range against Shermans is a dead Tiger, since Shermans can reload faster (which is fatal for the Tiger since their 76mm guns can pen it, and in War Thunder a penetrating shot almost always spells death just like in real life) and are more agile.
I love how inconsistant that movie is with regards to the main turret of the Tiger. At one point it can pen sloped frontal armour from a few hundred meters away and at another it can't pen the flat side amour. I guess this is what you get from a movie where Easy 8s can't pen a tiger.
+hedgehog3180 The movie was massive disappointment for me. Like, visually amazing and I sorta understood and liked the basic concept of really roughed out crew.. but it falls into such cliches and dumb storytelling.. plus the god-awful fight scenes. Once again, visually pretty but so redonkulously retarded.. This Tiger fight is bad and the finale is just.. it's just.. fucking Commando had better fight scenes than the finale of Fury. :P
Brad Pitt was also commanding an Easy Eight Sherman which means it was fitted with a 76mm plus armor piercing which gives the Sherman the ability to pen it at that range in the front.
888nevik In this scene, yeah. It also makes Germans look like brainless mooks in the ending scene, despite being crack troops. Oh and americans as supermen. I honestly think the finale would be better if "America, fuck yeah!" played in the background.
+SockenBimbo not really, the scene was poorly written as nobody fought like that. a sherman group would have maneuvered to ambush the Tiger had they saw it first (not that the 76mm armed shermans would need to)and the Tiger crew wouldn't have rushed at a bunch of Shermans
Tiger dies from even a 75mm to the side at that range. Hell the 76mm on that Sherman (as it appears to be) could penetrate the front glacis of a Tiger at that range. But is it supposed to be a 76mm? The muzzle brake suggests so, but the use of WP suggests otherwise.
+Treblaine It's an Easy Eight, so it's a 76mm, and as you said it'd definitely be able to penetrate at that range. That German commander must be inept as fuck by completely taking away the advantage of the Tiger by putting it that close.
kill4money213 Well, theoretically the armour penetration ranges aren't absolute but probabilistic. So saying "76mm penetrates 100mm at 500m" means about 50% to 80% of the time it would penetrate that much. The problem is each nation in testing used a difference percentage. So such figures only tells you what is "possible" not what is "probable". Though fucking around with trying for an entire rear shot is overkill, I don't think any Tank Commander in WW2 would be ever that certain and know that while side armour is weakER, rear armour is weakEST. FYI: tigers weren't very fast to begin with, it was only advancing forwards in the first place to get out of the smoke, it did try to retreat but considering the established reliability of the drive trains made so much by slave labour it can't be pushed that fast and hard. And why might a German tank commander think it's a good idea to get close, probably because of propaganda from tank killer "aces" like Whittman who did stunts like that repeatedly and it paid off for him.
+Treblaine i think you're right. Standard gun on easy eight were 76mm high velocity (give that extra piercing power while your at it). The muzzle doesn't tell anything, they were also some extremely similar on the 75mm. And you're correct for the penetration issue. Up that close it might be a 100% succesfull penetration ratio. Especially if you aim for the turret. Its hull is thiner than the frontal one and its design isn't great to reflect shots.
Underdestruction Quick note, that 76mm penetration of armour as good as Tiger presumes a 90-degree angle between armour surface and trajectory of projectile. Or as close to perpendicular as is reasonable. It's not clear in the movie how far the tanks were off to the left or right. The lateral angling was key for the tiger which was being extremely aggressive in advancing through the smoke, it could be the reasoning that the commander is paranoid of artillery being called in on its position or being flanked the long way around. The way the shells bounce off the tiger means the Shermans MUST have been laterally angled, but the movie seems to suggest as they are closing that they are almost directly in front of it. The movie is shot in a way that gives a great sense of tension and excitement but it's not too clear exactly what's going on. You can't see what obstacles there are or how much the tanks are spaced or what distances they are dealing with, time is compressed and lengthened as it should be to make a flat 2D image seem like a compelling scene. If there were no obstacles a great strategy would be to go three different directions: one straight at the tiger moving left and right a bit but for the most part it is aiming to get its rounds as perpendicular to the frontal armour as possible. The other two groups go left and the other right to hit the side of turrets or hull from as perpendicular as possible. Shermans are in a dilemma: to get to a tiger's side they must move laterally. But moving laterally exposes their side armour and they are an easy shot from the side. So really they want to drive relatively straight at the tiger for most of the distance the 88mm gun is deadliest and only make a serious lateral turn as close as possible. Tiger has a slow gun traverse, that means if you get close enough and THEN start moving laterally then their gun cannot track you, at least, not track very well. It's a huge heavy turret and doesn't have a very powerful motor.
Fact: The logs aren't even enough to stop an 88, the shot actually overpenned (bc close range) but it did damage the Easy 8's engine along the way, (hit the back side armor of the tank) but no crew casualties
+Aaron S I think that asking that is like asking 'will I die if I take a kilo of cyanide and hold a grenade with the pin pulled and the handle released.'
if this movie were like coh2 there would be a lot of horrible tank pathfinding. just tanks driving ass first into death, spinning around in circles and running into buildings instead of going around them.
1:58 Small note: no MG42s were used in tanks. Most German WWII tanks used the MG34 instead. I believe I've read about a reloading issue with the MG42 in tanks and that's why they used the MG34 instead, but I'm not 100% sure about that. By the way, I've never played Company of Heroes 2. Is the RNG that bad?
It's a lot better now but it can be pretty waky. The real problem is balance, about winter of 14-15 I remember you literally could not end a game without an entire column of Axis tanks flooding into your base and basically grinding the paste that used to be you into the pavement.
+John Kapwn Agreed. You have to remember this is a movie though so they have to make it a little unrealistic and biased to keep the story interesting = more money.
30000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000Characters Even with the flat armour the Sherman Easy 8 Struggled to do anything against the frontal armour of the Tiger due to the caliber only being 76 MM. While the 75 failed horribly against tanks, the 76 Had improved Armour Piercing but even with that added 'ompf' the Easy 8 would be forced to get around on the Tiger side or rear to have any hope in penetrating the enemy Vehicle, in fact If I remember correctly 80%+ of Tiger kills was all down to AT Guns, Infantry and Air Support. Sherman's couldn't do anything against them because the Sherman's were Infantry Fighting Vehicles, not Battle tanks. Plus, no Tiger commander ever in his right mind would charge his enemy, rather hide and take ranged pot-shots.
John Kapwn The commander was forced to move forward due to the smoke, a 76mm cannon is still able to penetrate through 116mm of armor, which is plenty above the effective armor of a tiger's front, especially if hit in the right spots. Tiger commanders stayed plenty back for a reason.
How you mean? The frontal hit would of bounced regardless, that was virtually 15 degrees from horizontal, that's over 300mm of effective armor. The side hit went straight through.
"Go! Get outta their strike zone!" "Get us the fuck outta here!" "Displace for fuck's sakes! Move, move, move!" "BAIL OUT, BAI-" "WE'RE COOKI-" "Whoa! Good fucking hit!"
In war its hard to think, when people are trying to kill you, it's pretty easy to panick. Also in real life it takes a bit for a tank crew to reload a shell into the tank, also in real life you want to conserve your shots as ammo isn't always available via drop and they need to make their shots count.
If this was a men of war tho. That side bounce would make sense. The slightest bit of angling makes the biggest difference.A puma deflected my super pershing shot.I cried.
According to the physics of War Thunder, standard murican shot (APCBC) cannot pen tiger, those shermans better flank the tiger or simply use AP. If they got APCR, they should switch to it too.
When the two Sherman's that can penetrate a tiger 1 from 800 metres with straight AP fail to penetrate a tiger at point blank, and I'm pretty sure a 'well known' tank like fury could get their hands on some APCR which can pen from over 800m
With M62 APCBC, it would out to 1,350yds (~1,250m) head on. But as you see, they don't get a single hit on the front. The side hit was at about 30 degrees from horizontal, which with either M62 or M79 Shot, would of bounced regardless. That's over 160mm of effective armor. M93/T4 HVAP [basically APCR] would penetrate a Tiger from the front out to 2,734m (2,500m) head on. However it wasn't issued to tankers during the war, that being said some did get their hands on it, as around 20,000 rounds were available by April of '45.
Honestly with that range the tiger should've penetrated the side of that Sherman on the first shot. Also, it will be stupid for a tiger tank to use HE bullets. But this is company of heroes 2, so screw logic.
now boys and girls what did we learn today:1. tanks fire lazers2. logs can stop lazers/shells3. the crew of that tiger was brain deadive found a movie I wont ever be watching lol
It should, but they don't get a single hit from the front. They do from the side, but that was at 30 degrees on the horizontal plane. That's over 160mm of effective armor.
logs stopping an 88 made me cry
stalinwood confirmed
TheTrollingStones xD nice vids man
thank you ^^
+Phoenix Fire An M93 HVAP shell not killing that tiger made me cry.

When a tiger round bounces off an easy eight Sherman that's when to uninstall the game
+Dex does Computers Gardening RNG.
with the correct angling, you could bound an 88. the E8 has 130mm frontal armor plus the effective thickness that came with angling. That shot in the side though, would have caused it's fuel tanks to explode.
true but I was talking about how realism "uhem" the game was and it was quote from a famous youtuber (empirerommel)

sherman shooting its mg at Tiger, "Sherman, is that your main gun?" xD lol

actually, the version in the movie (and this video) has a 76mm AT gun, and it was made for killing things like tigers and it is good enough to go through the tiger's armour.
Jack R but what about the tiger's side armour (pretty much flat 80mm) at point blank range like in the movie?
because, well, you said that the main gun wouldn't do anything anyways so the sherman might as well fire it's Machine gun.
it could very easily penetrate it from the side like that.

and this gun was much better than the M4A1's gun, and while it wasn't quite as good as the british 17 pdr it was still capable of penetrating tigers, certainly at those ranges.
also, the side & rear armour of the Tiger is 80mm thick and the angle of it doesn't vary by much, so, you know, if they could penetrate the rear then they could penetrate the sides as well.
GG

No, If that was a CoH2 match, The shermans would get destroyed in 10 seconds.
+Someone Named Horsemann That's why the Americans should be nerfed. RELIC PLS NERF SHERMAN FIRFLY
HYP3R4CTIVE
I think you mean buff...
That's kinda the joke. :|
HYP3R4CTIVE
O rite.
+SockenBimbo not really, the scene was poorly written as nobody fought like that. a sherman group would have maneuvered to ambush the Tiger had they saw it first (not that the 76mm armed shermans would need to)and the Tiger crew wouldn't have rushed at a bunch of Shermans
When peterson died, 'noob team' I fell down laughing
"Sherman is that your main gun" xDDD
Best part XD
Well Tiger being OP would be historically accurate. XD
2:14 THAFUQ ARE THOSE LOGS MADE OF LOL
stalinwood
So they stole it from russian TD's? Wow those TD's are going to get shot through the head for that that wood is important.
soviet lend lease comrade. soviets sold stronk materials to the americans. this is why america won the war. all is explained in sekrit dokumints.
varry guddd komred do sekrit dokuments also tell hoew stalin woed is made?
yes))) but I cant say it here, too many kapitalist spies))))
Very nice.
***** thanks :)
+TheTrollingStones Bien joué kiki! J'ai bien ri ! Ah ah ah
+Eazygeekompany Coh (Aurélien) haha merci :)
german kid in last second :')
You missed the red word "Gunner Killed" at 0:51 xD you missed that while editing.
What was a commander but whatever :)
I just noticed that the voice of the Tiger commander has similarity with the voice of the King Tiger commander in COH2, only German.
I love how the logs are made of stalins tears and a easy eight sherman cant even pen a Box Tank
“Sherman, is that your main gun?“ That was excellent xD
"Mein Tiger did not kill every single thing on zee battlefield with eine shot. Nerf zee Americant, ja?"
That was just... bad...
Mate, I'm from Cork. Nothing I could say would ever sound good.
+iancoheekelsey IRELAND FTW clare man here
long as you're no a dublin lad [;
+kill4money213 Yeah, that's why it's Hollywood and not an actual war footage...
Lol there is always that one Russian guy.
0:51
*Tiger blows off tank commander's face*
Other tank commander: lol XD
omg :D sub! and the tiger hull mg is a mg 34 not 42
You're missing the joke inside the joke the player can't tell the difference
zowibe thats not a joke, it's not going to make the video even more funny if it's mg 42
+Paciek Tank Noice 4Chan meme
Hmmm it kinda sounds like a Mg 42
Fact: The logs aren't even enough to stop an 88, the shot actually overpenned (bc close range) but it did damage the Easy 8's engine along the way, (hit the back side armor of the tank) but no crew casualties
0:52 Did he die?
+Aaron S I think that asking that is like asking 'will I die if I take a kilo of cyanide and hold a grenade with the pin pulled and the handle released.'
Alex Wright Well...........would you die?
+Aaron S yes (don't try it)
+Aaron S Merely unconcious
Илья Ильич Good I was worried there for a second
if this movie were like coh2 there would be a lot of horrible tank pathfinding. just tanks driving ass first into death, spinning around in circles and running into buildings instead of going around them.
0:52 "lol xd" I literally died at that part.
The MG42s in this case is an inside joke.... Some players(especially noobs) can't tell the difference, lol.
Yagami Fukiyochi I see. Thanks for explaining. I still wonder why the MG42 is much better known than the MG34.
Casper Kersten Probably due to its reliability and rate of fire (1200 rpm)?
Yagami Fukiyochi Yeah, that makes sense.
It's a lot better now but it can be pretty waky. The real problem is balance, about winter of 14-15 I remember you literally could not end a game without an entire column of Axis tanks flooding into your base and basically grinding the paste that used to be you into the pavement.
Sherman is tier 5 and the tiger is tier 8 :v
But what im talking about when he making a scene about company of heroes 2 match
This movie was great, until is just started devolving into American porn at the halfway mark.
+John Kapwn Agreed. You have to remember this is a movie though so they have to make it a little unrealistic and biased to keep the story interesting = more money.
+John Kapwn Actually, a sherman would EASILY destroy a tiger, due to its lack of sloped armor
John Kapwn The commander was forced to move forward due to the smoke,
a 76mm cannon is still able to penetrate through 116mm of armor, which is plenty above the effective armor of a tiger's front, especially if hit in the right spots. Tiger commanders stayed plenty back for a reason.
"relic nerf tiger pls" XD
love thie vid man, but I do love the rage moment for German High Command in the end xD
And so relic nerfed allies, true story.
2:19 That shell quite possibly could have gone through the tiger's armor, although I can't really see it's exact angle
Love you, nice creation.
Tiger instantly destroys the two other Shermans, the Fury Sherman closes in and becomes unstoppable, not even a single Tiger round piercing.
How you mean? The frontal hit would of bounced regardless, that was virtually 15 degrees from horizontal, that's over 300mm of effective armor. The side hit went straight through.
The guy going "Jesuschrist..." Near the end is how I feel every time the struggle to destroy german armor ends up paying off.
Lol when I watch the videos it's like me trying to get immersed into the game then see the chat xD spot on.
i am pretty sure Fury was inspired by the game
In War Thunder the last sherman alive could easily penetrate Tiger’s front armor.
you need more subs man you truly do
logs made out of depleted uranium?
+EpicTrolledYouBro konkat wood
If only it was a Tiger II.
Overkill?
'I'm just gonna keep my head out of the turret for no fucking reason while the tiger is shooting at us at close range"
PoV: *you're capturing a point then a Vet 3 Tiger shows up*
please do more, these are so funny.
In the First CoH this actually happens to 5 Shermans with the 76 Gun upgrade or even the M26
Pershing
Srsly, how did the Tiger's mg not pierce the Sherman.
MG? Too low caliber.
It's still 38mm of armour in the side there, that MG couldn't punch through 20mm of armour at the best of times.
Erik Bergström 'Twas merely a jest, good sir.
JoeBob the Asian Oh. Whoops xD
Now we need a video of this scene if it were a World of Tanks match
I would say this is more like war thunder, but this has better music, so I'm okay with this. Great video by the way
Music?
"Go! Get outta their strike zone!"
"Get us the fuck outta here!"
"Displace for fuck's sakes! Move, move, move!"
"BAIL OUT, BAI-"
"WE'RE COOKI-"
"Whoa! Good fucking hit!"
This is unbelievably true
Clever tactic, going on the back of the tank, where the armour is the weakest.
if you listen closely, at the start of the 'round' you can hear the tiger crew telling to load PzGr
two questions. why did the tiger not turn around to protect its back? and why are they shooting like 1 shell every 30 hours?
In war its hard to think, when people are trying to kill you, it's pretty easy to panick. Also in real life it takes a bit for a tank crew to reload a shell into the tank, also in real life you want to conserve your shots as ammo isn't always available via drop and they need to make their shots count.
+xLADIES MANx13 ^^^Pretty much that^^^
+FOVoid maybe because he was trying to turn the tower faster
+FOVoid because aint nobody got time fo that
+FOVoid the terrain seems hindering them from pivoting in place.
That moment when an 88mm can't pen the side of a Sherman which is FLAT
The best is when a dead teammate talks shit because you just got killed lol
When you dive on your opponent but also you're not good enough to manage 4 tanks
When the Tiger is too OP and the game gives the RNG-win to your opponent.
no what a war thunder tank battle feels like always
Commoner in cinema when sees tiger sherman duel : omg so kewl.
Me an educated bloke : the fuck they doin?
lol @ Luvnest as a child at the end
If this was a men of war tho. That side bounce would make sense. The slightest bit of angling makes the biggest difference.A puma deflected my super pershing shot.I cried.
I know the struggles, when your jagdtiger bounces of a t-26, christ i almost wanted to quit the game.
Should be renamed "If Fury was a World of Tanks match"
when i feel like shrecking newbs i just show them this clip, im the tiger just gunna cut out the part where it fucking nukes itself
According to the physics of War Thunder, standard murican shot (APCBC) cannot pen tiger, those shermans better flank the tiger or simply use AP. If they got APCR, they should switch to it too.
But... the easy 8 they were in had a 76.2mm cannon, which can be loaded with Apcr and one shot a tiger.
Should have made the tiger say "omg plot armour plz nerf"
So funny man! Exactly like company of heroes
To me the tiger advancing wasnt the worst part. It was that the m4 bounced 2 88mm shells lol
Man this was a great and true film, don't disrespect this film, it is a sad but true story, don't make fun of that!
I would say this would have been better suited for World of Tanks rather than Company of Heroes 2.
I havent played CoH but this vid is so well made hahahah XD
If the movie Saving Private Ryan was a DOD:S game
Hahahhahahaha final reaction at hq is great touch! Hahhahaha
Lol they really didn't need to engage the Tiger, they could just fire at a distance but that's Hollywood for ya 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Tanks tracks clearly down
Crew: our tracks are damaged
Me: No fucking shit
More of a World of Tanks match in my opinion, but either way I agree.
Honestly with that range the tiger should've penetrated the side of that Sherman on the first shot. Also, it will be stupid for a tiger tank to use HE bullets. But this is company of heroes 2, so screw logic.
More like "If the movie 'Fury' was a War Thunder GF arcade battle"
i like those tankmg jokes ;)
(i make them constant on tank games like wot)
I guess the Sherman commander got a...
Clean cut.
now boys and girls what did we learn today:1. tanks fire lazers2. logs can stop lazers/shells3. the crew of that tiger was brain deadive found a movie I wont ever be watching lol
Tracer rounds, breh.
DishonoredHero97 still stupid
I hope you realise that those so called lazers are tracer shells
Hahahaha!! "relic nerf tiger pls" XDXDXD
The Fury tank should've been able to penetrate the tiger from the front. I don't know why it bounces
It should, but they don't get a single hit from the front.
They do from the side, but that was at 30 degrees on the horizontal plane. That's over 160mm of effective armor.
Tiger can penetrate front plate of a Sherman but cant pen the side plate at point blank because a log was in the way
The director of Fury never went to history class.
also where is my big "REAR ARMOR HIT" text at?
That Tiger cannon...Look funny when it fired at the Sherman
P.S : The creator should play World of Tank...Goddam Tiger can't make a perfect circles and hit some head off...ಠ_ಠ
this happened to me in company of heroes. I had a Sherman and I circled a tiger
Pretty much right on the money.
Tbh i kinda wish they buffed tiger tank. U honestly don’t need much to kill it in game.
