- This is an original oil on canvas from my older collection, now you can see the picture in higher resolution. I use only a palette knife for painting. I have not used a brush in this painting. I use only natural oil paint and 100% pure cotton canvas. This painting will be available for auction on www.afremov.com
Each original oil painting by Leonid Afremov is truly a one-of-a-kind unique piece of art. With his artwork in private and public collections throughout the world, the purchase of an Afremov original is a great investment as his artwork continues to appreciate.

wt an Amazing Vision u have!!!

The video ended just before you started to paint the sail... I hated that. But, my dear sir you are a magnificent artist. I will find all your videos and enjoy them. Gracias
Excellent music choice. Great to see your process. Do you have anything on the canvas to facilitate blending, other than the oil colors themselves?
Amazing artist. What brand of oils do you use? I love the fact that they go so easily on your canvas. I currently use Winsor Newton but have to use alkyd to get some smoother consistencies. Yours appear to be this way out of the tube.
Love the colors! Do you use any medium or impasto or straight from the tube???
Please visit our country Philippines, we want to learn and be inspired by your wonderful and unique style of making art masterpieces.
what kind of easel do you use? you're an amazing artist btw!
And suddenly techno beats are reminding me of the last acid trip...
Just discovered Mr. Afremov and love his work! Great video! (music is a bit too much tho..)
Fantastic Work! What is the name of this painting? I would love to see the finished painting!
Wow!!! I love your art work, Leonid! You're super talented. I love to draw and paint too, but am no expert at it. I'm horrible with oil paints but much better with oil pastels. I know it's a silly question, but is there some way I can redo your style of art using oil pastels? If so, can you show me how? Please do reply.
Thank you so much :D

appreciation of art is something 100% personal thing, u might love it some other might not, its not up to me to judge it. I am just justifying my oppinion on this. Also what u said about the paintings being capturing, i agree on this (dazzling is another way to put it). Regarding the rest aspects, yes he has created a way to work and evolved it (its not something new, just made some adjustments regarding brightness) but other than that I find no meaning, little thought behind and no diversity.
The stuff seems to just flow unconstrained straight out of his right brain, left hemisphere is for graphic design and thinking.
Can someone please tell me the name of the song?

!!!!!!!!
this is how i paint
Excellent art! The Rave music is repetitive annoyance.
So fast!!!!!!!!
5:18 toilet break. omg he is human :O
disappointed to not see it finished
The art is beautiful - the sound is terrible.
Trop vite. Dommage
I can respect that, but does every piece of art need to be brainstormed? does a painting of a tree have any meaning? In my opinion, i dont think something beautiful always needs some sort of greater meaning :]
Another time lapse video!!! Get real.
Oh, you're one of those... Listens to Dream Theater, too. Get your head out of your ass and appreciate art on any level. (Not to say this isn't high level, I know nothing about painting but the things this man paint capture me.)
