- Maiden trip to the magnificent Shark Bay region for a fishing and scouting long weekend. Heading up to flick a few Fligs and Bucktail Jigs from the shore with one of my generous customers who lives in the area.
Got onto a few fun size Black Snapper on the light gear, discovered some promising looking ground and learnt a heap for future reference.
My original and Australian made 'Size 3/0 Shrimp Fligs' were the order of the day during this session, in the Firecracker and KJ Custom colour schemes. - Спорт

Cheers for that. Glad you enjoyed it
You seem to pop up everywhere Mr M, enjoyed your footage😉
Cheers for that.
Hi BJ. What brand / type of tackle box are you storing your fligs in? Is that intended for flys?
G’day Randall, yes that’s a saltwater fly box. Had to use a bit of contact cement to really hold the foam down due to the combined weight of the Fligs.
Enjoyed that! What rod /reel combo are you using to cast the flags?
Thank you. Daiwa Saltiga Game 3500 and an Oceans Legacy Cloud 9 PE 1 - 1.5. 20lb braid and 40lb leader.
What location was this spot in shark bay?
I was invited up by a local so unfortunately I can’t divulge that.
