My Dad was a 30 year member of Pile driver,s Local 2375 out of Wilmington California. He retired in 1988. Unfortunately he passed away on Feb.15,2019. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think about Him. just the other day I was looking for some thing in our shop, but I could not find it. I new that he would know right were it was So I said out loud Dad where,s it at. And then I found it.
I'm a commercial diver working as a Union diver/Piledriver. Absolutely love this and this is a great video showing what we do!

There is no such thing as a carpenter pile driver period. Two completely different trades
In South East Michigan, pile driving is under union carpenters scope of work. So is concrete forms, scaffolding, bridge work, ect. Local 687 puts in work.
Pile drivers are part of UBC
Same here in west Michigan. 525/100 does it all as well.
Local 1847 does. Pike driving is under the carpenter union
