Been wanting to create glass art for 10 years. I'm 25 now and I think it's time!! Thanks for your inspiration.
Chain looks awesome! Your voice is hella soothing, between that and the glass art TOO soothing lol
You must be from the Bay Area. It’s hella nice out here ✨
@@revereglass Definitely from the Bay! Hahaha San Jose, California!
Thanks for the advice. Bloopers were gold
I buy all my glass from mountain. They are really great people over there and they always ship my glass right away. Awesome to Shae them supporting the channel for so many years.
Yeaaaah!! These videos are getting better and better I absolutely LOVE the chains!! And your dad and his Hummingbirds are amazing!!
Loved the bloopers! Thank you for touching on the kilns! It’s been driving me crazy trying to pick haha
I'm probably the like 1000th person to say this but, your videos have been such a huge inspiration and has helped me out so much, I can't put into words my gratitude for yall fellas ❤. Thank you guys for all you've done!
I love that you're wearing the necklace too sooo badass !!
Loved the video last week with your dad, would love to see where more of your inspiration comes from
Ive always been so intrigued by these glass chains
Such a cool chain! I’ve been watching another glass blower making chains and it’s such 🔥🔥
You are a Master !! Man I love how detailed this is to make!!
Chain looks 🔥. Ive been wondering if a cuban link style chain would be possible, along with cold working the links flat
That would go hard 😈
That would be awesome! Hard to twist them so they all fit, also the whole chain usually has tension when bending so the links will be touching while you try and get them hot. This will cause them to tack to each other. Would love to see someone get around these obstacles but so far it’s been out of my reach!
Torch comes in Monday, super excited to get started
Chains looks amazing! Just finished the foundation to my shed can’t wait to build it so I can finally get on the torch! Been a dream of mine for years now and I’ve finally pulled the trigger…mountainglass sent me an amazing starter kit for $5400 including the scutt micro scarab and the gtt mirage torch…definitely thinking about getting in on the classes as well would love to learn everything I can! Hope the revere glass team is all well have a good one guys! Thanks for the quality content to help start my journey

Mind blown. Yesterday I make a comment on mountain glass that I cant pull this off. Today Rever is like oh, let's correct that issue. Thanks Dustin.

That chain is dope. I love all the random things you show us to help expand what we do with glass.
Man I been checking the site for new vids stoked to see a new one. Last weeks class was awesome!
Thanks for all you do! Cheers
This would make a great rear view mirror hanger! 😂
I love your videos. They have helped me so much in glassblowing. I was wondering if you could do a ear plug video one day, because I have a glass plug graphite mold but I don't really know how to use it. Thank you so much again.
Love ur channel that chain is AMAZING
Love the demo thanks for sharing 👍
I think leveling up skill is more important for a beginner than being "creative." The inspiration, for me, happens when I've done something hundreds of times and this time the glass speaks to you. Shows you a new thing... but having a variety of exercises to keep from being dull is a good idea. I like the drawing example.
I was trained in hot glass and find that I often push the heat too far. Did you experience this when you made your transition? If so how did you retrain yourself?
Why haven’t I thought of marking where I needed to bend?? Awesome advice!
Dustin ive been looking at the site really wanting to sign up but i gotta get a kit first but man i absolutely cannot wait for when im able to sign up and learn this amazing craft!!!
Cool lesson man! I'm new to glassblowing and your lessons have helped a lot!
Paramore colours are butter. 🤤
awesomeness!
so sick
💨🔥🌲🤙 awesome lesson appreciate it
I like the square links
Awesome
Hi Dustin, longgg time viewer and fan here. Not commenting for the chain, some other lucky viewer can get it. What I am most interested in is learning how to electroform and doing inlays? I'm a leather worker as well and want to combine my glass blowing art with my leather work and inlay marbles and flat pendents and such. Do you have any good leads on these methods? I've watched a few vid's and done some reading, but it's always nice to get more leads and hear other artists experience and perspectives. Than you and keep on melting bro!
I wonder how small you could make this chain before it's too fragile to wear
I’ve seen small bracelets before that get small and have daily use. Also the homie jebb glass makes small mid evil flails that have chains with links that look about 3-4mm wide at most. Anything smaller would probably be too fragile for hands! Hope this helps ❤️
Just started making a chain ⛓
I would love to know what kind of concentrators you use. I am having trouble affording refilling 220cu. ft oxygen bottle every few days.
lol gotta ask how many times did you grab the hot end lol iknow im going to every other time
What inspired you to make the online class?
will you be selling chains? I'd buy one.
Chain making hmmmmm have you thought about making a wooden jig so that all the pieces can be cut to the same length. This will speed up time.
