I couldn't handle my emotions for an hour, 15 minutes and 18 seconds. I have no idea how he handled 30 years.
Beautiful job to everyone involved! RIP to Willy and the murdered victim.

It’s unbelievable, the things a human being can be forced to tolerate & live with, when there’s no other choice.

Why are there never any consequences for the cops/prosecutors who are directly responsible for these wrongful convictions???

The people involved here can feel so proud, as they seem to be, outside the courtroom as David and his mother walk out together.
Very moving. Such a perfect result!!

America's justice system is deplorable! How prosecutors who convict innocent people sleep at night I do not know🤷‍♀️,how they are not themselves put behind bars I also do not know.

These prosecutors are sociopaths who don't feel any shame/remorse for ruining innocent lives.

I've been in the belly of the beast which is the criminal justice system I have no idea how these people survived the ordeal of surviving a wrongful conviction. I don't know if I could survive the heartbreak! Our legal system must do a better job!

Heyyy he has me birfdayyy... I'm honored... Glad they gave u ur freedom back... It's a shame that this is the norm for our brethren now a days... Arrested without concrete evidence and convicted by the color of our skin... Even in 2022 we still deal with this type of BS... Stay strong and be blessed 💙💙💙

CONGRATULATIONS to all of you! What a story! I wish all of you the best. This needs to be on every television or in every movie theater. There are so many lessons in this one documentary. David Please Don't Touch The Drugs! Fentanyl is in everything and the cocktail called Lean is nothing but juice and heroin. Take Care, Sue them and Live life to the fullest

I learned along time ago a beating may last a hour or two but a 20 year sentence lasts maybe 30% of your life so when you decide to confess to a crime you didn't commit then that is on you.

It's also terrifying to realize that the cops/prosecutors don't actually care if they have the right person or not.

Just known this happens a lot in America. It is messed up that has my sitting in prison for 20 years for a crime he didn’t commit my heart goes out to him and what impresses me how he’s not angry about it I would hate the Justice system for it

Imagine I watched something on Netflix where a white man was paid 155million for compensation and other two respective men on color 50 000 per annum for 4 years and that’s it So compensation wise life can become more horrible for time lost I’m not sure if prisoners are even allowed to study in the US

I've been watching a bunch of these seems to be some are by what state it happened but then again one guy got 9 mil white guy the black guy was in longer was supposed to get more but he was still patiently waiting years later and didn't know if it would ever happen that was ny. Missouri I think is the brewers and brooks cases is only 50k up to 5 years or something even though they were in jail insanely long time for something in sure got them beat in jail. Lot of suffering for people accused of raping a cold I imagine have more suffering in jail and should get compensated more for that idk the whole thing is crazy

When he's mom was like the doctors said my daughter wouldn't live past 13 yrs old. And she was like I realized later they didn't know what they were talking about.
And the guy interviewing her was like " how old is she now?" She said she 52!
I chuckled, 😅 because that goes to show that God has the last say. Not them.

To police officers, lawyers and judges out there If you are not 100% sure or does not have sufficient evidence please do not act out of pride or egotism or status seeking by putting an innocent man in prison, God has a way of exacting vengeance upon our children and grand children, I know people who are suffering alot and stories has been told of how unjust their parents or grand parents were to the poor and helpless. It's wrong to leave a legacy of curses upon your generation.
