There are many other members from the “Hall of Very Good” that also captured MVP honors. Guys like Jake Scott, Phill Simms and Ottis Anderson.
And then there are some guys who were inconsistent or simply not impactful throughout their playing careers. But these nine guys stepped up big-time on the grandest stage, earning Super Bowl MVP honors for their efforts.

Bruh, I don’t think you understood the title, the entire video, or the theme of the entire video. Even a solid-but-not-great N.B.A. bench player can rack up 30-40 points on his career night. Sure, one of Foles’s career nights happened to be in the biggest game of the season, but that’s still, what... one game out of a handful? Out of his entire career? I’m not hating-I love a good underdog success story as much as the next guy-I’m just being objective. Again, you’re not getting the point of the video.

He had one really good season and was a letdown for most of his career. He had a great game and one of the best catches ever don’t get me wrong but he’s definitely one of the worst to ever win super bowl MVP. So was Dion Brach who had a very similar career.

Seahawks fan, I think foles is a pretty good QB, he's smart and has a good arm but he has to been in places where he's set to succeed and minshew is a better QB for the dumpster fire that is the jaguars. He can run away easier so there's a reason he's the starter, foles couldn't succeed under pressure.

Larry brown didn't do anything in the super bowl, he just had to stand there and catch the ball because Neil o'donnell was paid to throw to him
Neil O'Donnell handed him the super bowl MVP by giving up 14 points
one of which was overthrown and in the other one receiver ran a wrong route. If a bribe was in they would have made it more believable

You're basing this on Holmes never being in the Pro Bowl? Seriously? He was fantastic, and had one of, if not the best final play in SB history. It wasn't just one game either. Rewatch the 2008 season. He was fantastic.

Santonio Holmes had 2 Pro Bowl like seasons stat wise. Other than that he hasn't done anything outisde of his 1 fantastic performance. None of the guys listed above will make the HoF because 1 Fantastic game doesn't get you in. Multiple Fantastic seasons do

But he's in a very exclusive group that is a very diverse group talent wise of SB MVPS. You have HoFers like Brady Montana, Peyton Manning, Rice etc then you got Hall of Very good guys like Hines Ward, Phil Simms, Jake Scott. Then you got 1 game wonders like Nick Foles, Malcolm Smith, Larry Brown. Santonio more fits the bill for that list which isn't bad at all. Only 42 men are in the club

They did my dad worked for the raiders when that season started .They mixed up plays but kept some tricky plays in there I’m not a raiders fan because I watched santino Holmes catch that ball... it changed instantly and I’ve stuck with them ever since.

I think you missed the point of the list. This list names a bunch of SB MVP players that were largely backups or just ok starters at their position. Damien Williams would actually fit on this list fairly well had he won the SB MVP (which I agree he should've).
Mahomes didn’t play to his full potential but still played good. I rooted for the 49ers even tho I’m closer to Kansas City. The comeback was very solid.

I forgot all about the Cowboys' Larry Brown. I usually associate that name with a 1970s running back who was an opponent of Jake Scott's MVP effort and a legendary basketball coach.

Holmes was a pot-head that had to share the receiving corps with deep talent.
Remember one other big BIG thing about Doug Williams - he led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the NFC championship game in 1979 - only a couple seasons removed from their infamous 0-26 start as an expansion team.

Doug William's and Timmy Smith two players who didnt do a lot in their careers but when it came to superbowl XXII god damn did both of them pop off like Doug had 340 yards, 4 tds, and a pick with Timmy setting a rushing record in the superbowl with 204 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns to add on... What a game!!
Joe Flacco wasn't the best quarterback and that's coming from a ravens fan but he was not the worst he did set the most playoff appearances in his first five seasons of a rookie quarterback and the record has still not been broken.

Think about the situation with Foles. To return to the team that cut you and lead them to a super bowl win, their first super bowl win, and become MVP of that game. Pretty crazy.
Joe Flacco during those years was a pretty damn good QB, not elite, but nowhere where he should be on a worst MVP list.
It was later when that booming arm strength started to slip that his career fell off.

Santonio Holmes was a beast with Pittsburgh. He just died when he went to the Jets, like most players do when they go the Jets.
This did not age well. To be clear, Foles did poorly with the rams, you know who else did, Jared Goff, why? The coach, the system. How is it, two QB who both performed horribly for Jeff Fisher totally revitalize their careers when playing for a different coach? The system. For the sake of transparency, Foles was injured in Jacksonville, and now is a bear with former offensive coordinator, Matt Nagy. He plays well in Reid/Pederson systems so this should work. In no way was Nick a bad QB, he was stuck with chip kelly and Jeff Fisher. He never really had his chance.
