brunobad56 I wouldn’t be shocked if he wins it back to back... he just won the Reno TOC, which is a very tough tourney...

I'm so old I wrestled at freestyle state with his dad Gerry.. my friend told me to watch him and I don't remember doing so.. wish I did.. and his uncle Stephen was in 8th grade when I was a senior.. we wrestled in the same section and weight class.. missed watching him wrestle as well😒

Stephen Abas (James Logan) and Eric Guerrero (Independence) were Seniors my Sophomore year (Oakdale). I got to see Abas & Guerrero in their Finals matches for 2 Years @The Coast Classic & @ CIF State Championships. They were the two best wrestlers to come out of California for quite sometime before and after their H.S. years. Both were technicians who were so clean and precise with their styles. They had 6 NCAA Championships between them and both represented The U.S.A at the 2004 Olympics with Abas bringing home the Silver 🥈 Arguably the two best wrestlers California has produced. They wrestled each other once in college.

Garbage reffing.. there were no points there.. and he counted when he was at 90

If you watch carefully. The ref counts out 5 on the back points but only awarded 2 pts near fall. That was correct scoring. There was a three second period where Abas was at 45°. The ref was right in his call.
