How appropriate would it be to mention that I have economic difficulties in order to achieve a scholarship? My financial situation is pretty low and without the scholarship I would not be able to participate in the programme, but maybe pointing this is not appropriate. What do you think?

Don't mention it for the simple reason that Eurasmus is Merit-Based (not need based). They are not expecting you to mention the affordability of the program and your financial struggles. If it were a Need- based, then yes! Good luck with the application

I'm always struggling with how much to write because in the end I always write too much information the is not needed so your template will help me a ton.
I'd love to apply this year for september 2024, I'm a chemical engineer and I have almost everything ready (except for the proof of residence) but I'm afraid of not being eligible because some other chem.eng. have scientific publications and I can't still have one. I quit my job to start as a volunteer in a research group where I've graduated a year ago.
