Amazing how quickly everyone forgot that the whole game was about cognition. Morgana coming back and still being able to talk is likely two-fold, a reward from Igor for fulfilling his duty, AND because THAT Morgana still existed in everyone's cognition...
The last guy made a great point, though. The Metaverse is supposed to be gone now. None of the cognition changing things is supposed to happen anymore.

As someone who has only played Persona 5 Royal(haven’t finished yet no spoilers) this scene is WAY different from how I saw it in my play through of Royal.

I have to go back and finish the original P5, I got stuck in Niijima's Palace. It looks like there's just enough differences between this and Royal, which I did finish, to go back and revisit P5. "Give us our tears back." I wish characters on soap operas would have said that to people that came back from the dead when I still watched them.
Well if you played persona 4, this wouldn't have surprised you at all. Like sure it was cool when he came back but this whole morgana disappearing thing was just a reused plot point from Persona 4 with slightly different circumstances.
