Another thing we forgot to mention: in Super Samurai ep15, we see Bulk doing the classic Power Rangers morphing motion, but shouts "it's chewin time" while holding a handfull of gumballs.
I totally agree, they are honorary Power Rangers. They've matured over the years from typical high school bullies to men who are willing to risk their lives for Power Rangers regardless of the odds being against them.
Bulk and Skull were amazingly-executed by Paul Schrier and Jason Narvy. Their antics and misadventures make up a big part of why I loved MMPR. They acted as bullies, but they went through so much character development over time without losing their core personalities. Easily the most memorable non-Rangers in the whole franchise.
Bulk and Skulls progression throughout this show is amazing. Bulk signs them up for junior police force because he really just wants to do good. and skull, the brainiac musician, was always scared of what bulk would think. It’s not hard to believe Skull was very successful after they split. Bulk just had no motivation
Honestly these two were the symbolism of what the power rangers were protecting. While not great people, when it came to brass tax they did the right thing. Bulk and skull would have made great rangers in some final battle. Honorary rangers for real.
Shame Dekaranger...or rather, SPD, didn't cross over into an earlier time period...would have been interesting to see how the SPD would interact with Bulk and Skull in their Junior Police days...
There were two times that Bulk found out that Tommy was a Power Ranger. We don't know how Bulk found out the second time. We know that you're a Power Ranger! Guys, I'm retired. I'm not a Power Ranger anymore!
I want to see Bulk and Skull returning in Once And Always as the Purple and Orange Mighty Morphin Rangers, but it would probably be not the same version of themselves from the primary Power Rangers universe and they're from another alternate Power Rangers universe where they were chosen as Rangers.
Never once pictured Bluk as a bald man when I was a kid. Dose suck they lost thier memory of helping the power rangers back in season 2. Make you wonder how thier relationship with the rangers would have played out. Bulk and Skull probably would have changed their mind and decided not to expose them similar to how that girl and boy in Dino thunder did. Might the even help the power rangers out now and then in the command center. Could the had the two becoming more mature over time but of crouse had them act like goof balls every once in awhile. Imagine Bluk or Skull saying I don't know how to say this but I think I accidentally put your power coin into a soda machine. That would have been funny lol
There could be another alternate universe in the Power Rangers's Multiverse where Bulk and Skull becomes the Mighty Morphin's Purple and Orange Rangers.

Maybe if bulk and skull were trained professional to be a power ranger then they want to be having their issue on the show instead of them being goof balls just like them being cop in the show
