First time out with a 30 pallet rear steer trailer. As i normally do multi drop i don't get to drive these, Well very often anyhow.

Pisses me of a bit to. Sadly my truck dosn't stop, If ever i get back another driver takes it out. Its also out at weekends. So its prity much imposable to get anything done to it unless it brakes down.

Yes, I went to bed with a horrable feeling some one is going to twat my cab when they drive of as i'm sticking out a bit. Wouldn't want to revers into a bay with a truck each side unless i can do it in a straight line as well as i've not experianced it enough to judge my rear overhang yet.

We've had three of them for years and its easy work. They don't go far of the motorway network. I'm just not lucky enough to do it. They only do Sainsburys distrabution center work. We also have a load of 16,2 ft dubble deckers which are used for Aldi distrabution centers, I do them more then the long ones.

Engine is a 12777 cc. Its ALSO 520 bhp.

I had my first go with a 50 foot rear steer last night. It is very important to lock the rear axel once its straight before you reverse otherwise it will wander off course.

I took an old rear steer to chep once. Your not aloud out the cab incase you die in their yard but to lock the rear steer you had to push a button that was half way down the passanger side of the trailer and it was crabing about all over the place. Could have locked it befor i entered the yard however it only locks for 5 muinets and as the spped limit is 5 mph and i was going right over the far side it would unlock itself before i'd get there. Bloody health and safty gone mad.
