With how random drops work in the game, I don't think it would ever be feasible. Check out his Retro Achievements series to see how that works out though. Interesting stuff.

Why is he jumping to get the big heart with richter? Afterwards he wastes hearts at the dracula fight. Can anyone explain? Thx

The amount of hearts you pick up, using all of those hearts, and ending with the cross all contribute to different things starting the Alucard part. The hearts being fully used starts Alucard with a Heart Refresh in base (so free random item in the rando). I believe 41 hearts gives a higher MP Stat, but I don't remember what the cross does.
