By the way, the tour is organized NOT by Todd Rundgren, although he's part of it. The musical director is Rob Shirakbari, former musical director for Burt Bacharach himself! Burt Bacharach was such a talented composer wasn't he? This is so beautiful, loved it very much, and it's a good reminder of what we all need.
@kimr3729 I wholeheartedly agree on all accounts, Kim. It is a beautifully done song by a couple of greats in Burt and Hal and we definitely need more love in the world 🤩💕

Sue ! Isn't Tori's version the cats meow ? Your reaction made my day as always !!! Tori singing a Bert and Hal song, and one that is not covered by The Carpenters, makes me sing LOL with happiness because Tori is my absolutely favorite up and coming artist on top of Burt and Hal being two of my favorite collaborative teams of all times. Thank you Sue, for your channel and for supporting Tori, Jim, his team and feeling as though we are on the brink of a world wide new artist discovery on top of it all !!! PS Sue, as to the background female vocalists, I feel Jim found the perfect women to perform because their voice styles very much align to the "sound of the times" when Burt and Hal delivered this song to the masses. Thank you for a wonderful and detailed reaction. Thanks for the tour plug too. When I try to link it or write it, my post gets deleted. Tori, for whatever reason hasn’t yet put a short with those details on UA-cam. I’m glad you had to read all the names and not me, whew. 😂 I may have mentioned that I have my tix for the Los Angeles show. I see Marcia is stirring the pot. I’ll have to see what’s up. I was in back to back live streams when I saw you dropped this. There should be two more songs before the tour. We Are The World 40th Anniversary. An independent production from the producer that made Tori’s 3 Ohio based songs from 2022, including Merry Christmas, Darling. (Did you react to all three audio songs?) Tori is a participant, there are a bunch of unknown and little known singers and a children’s choir. And with Jim, back to Carpenters; Top of the World.
