Travis did play his acoustic guitar on this. You can hear it very clearly at the start of the song. There is also a video of The End with Travis and the doors. its called Vh1 storytellers with the Doors
Travis Meeks did this very well. Watched this concert a few years ago and all the singers were superb!
I still can gladly remember how I lost my innocence as a music listener with this song.
