expressive information!
Those are great tips. Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Appreciate the good tips.
You bet!
Great video with lots of good information, this will be helpful to me.
Glad it was helpful!
Great video, very helpful and packed with great information. Thank you.
your system includes two permanent fences at each end. On my farm we had bush-fires completely destroy the perimeter fences and I cant currently afford to re-fence the whole farm, what would you advise for building a whole rotational grazing paddock with electric fences
EDIT: I saw later in the video that you shore up open corners but any further advise on my situation would be good
Are those Obrian posts better than the plastic ones from ts? The clips break so easily
They are a lot better! We have had some of the O'Brien's for ten years. Thanks for watching!
Does the portable need grounding? Seems it still would?
Super helpful video for me as I am still learning how to be efficient with moving my sheep around using temporary fencing. Picked up some of those fiberglass posts based on this video, i had been trying using the blue posts to do something similar but they just bend on me.
what fencer are you using?
I'm using the stafix 36 joule fencer.
The carabiner trick for setting 2 wires at once is awesome, i'll have to try that one.
When we were setting four fences every day on foot everyday sure saved time.
Excellent fence primer!
Thank You!!!
How close to the charging box be to the first ground rod be ?
Great channel. Here due to Greg Judy recommendation. Lots of information. Keep up the good work.
Welcome aboard!
Howdy Russ. Do you have a video on how you make those cheap sucker fence posts with hand tied tube insulators using 17ga wire?
Thanks!Well done!
What do you buy for ribbon and where do you get your mini reels? My 8 year old is watching and said," that's one well prepared man."
We get our fencing supplies from Kencove farm fence. www.kencove.com . They have the ribbon and mini reels. My daughter started fencing on her own at 6 years old using the mini reels. She started by fencing the yard and keeping her play horse in the fence. Thanks for watching
Thanks for sharing that. It’s a wholesome life. This will help us get the horses into pasture.
Absolutely!
Nice video. Clever way of setting fence, especially 2 wires. I really like your co-hosts Scout and Paige.

Russ glad to see you back doing UA-cam
Thank John!!
Really great tips. I’m ordering a couple mini reels today.
Where can I find a reel like that?
About how far apart do you set the posts?
how does the ground work? or is it necessary?
You must have atleast 3 ground rods 10ft.apart.It is a must have.
Question.....at the very beginning you say....... subscribe and hit the like button....share. and it helps you out. However you fail to say how it helps you out ?????
Like how you braced the corner posts, setting up my fence today and going to put that corner method to good use! Thanks for the vid
