I was having a bit of a panic attack watching Adam go along that narrow path, I also have a fear of heights and he did better than I would in that situation. Japan is one country I'd love to visit, although Australia and New Zealand are also on my bucket list.

Triggy is very cute. Mind you we are doggy pushovers. We were on a boating holiday last month and rescued a dog stuck on the river bank. We handed him in to dog wardens but he wasn’t claimed and now he’s ours!

We were on the exact trail, just a month ago. But hiked them in reverse, and the second one you did, went round Tre Cime. Had that same fear, didn't even know I had it in me. Being on an empty stomach didn't help, for sure. Went up just like you did. It was both terrifing and wonderfull, to still be able to discover yourself, after so many years living, thinking, what else is there to know about yourself? Funny thing is, that fear kicks in, only when the drop is on my left. When its on my right, its not that big of a problem. Brand new feeling, I got to feel again, by watching you. I blame the Dolomites. They give you a certain feel, being so pure, masive, abrupt, don't know, never felt like that on other mountains I hiked. And having a supportive, encouriging girlfriend also, helped a lot. All the love goes out to them. Wish you the best life human beings could possibly live!🤗
Not really afraid of heights but I definitely had some of my own moments during our Trek there and they were not nearly as sketchy as that bit you did. So glad a friend recommended your channel. cheers. -

YOU have a fear of height and I'M breaking out in sweat just watching you guys! 😱 Facing your fears is often easier said then done. After all, fear is a self-preservation mechanism, hardwired into our brain. As you might remember I don't have a fear of height but claustrophobia and it can be absolutely paralysing! But you know what they say, the things worth doing are at the other side of our comfort zone (and your fantastic footage of the dolomites proves my point). It helps to remember that thoughts and emotions, like irrational fears, are nothing but electrical currents in our brains. They're not real! Of course, it is only rational to be cautious in dangerous situations, like that path, but to understand that fear is just something our brain makes up, to fully comprehend that it's not real, helps a lot. Bravery is not the absence of fear, it's overcoming it. Which is exactly what you did, mate! 💪🏽😉 Anyway, amazing video again! Your videography is second to none! 👍🏽😉 All the best! 🙏🏽😎

I did it by car and then by motorcycle, because I am unable to walk far, but even if I could trek, my fears would never allow me to do what you've done! Fear of heights would cause my legs to fold, and there wasn't enough trail up there for me to crawl back!

Thank you both once again for an amazing ride-/hike-along in the Dolomites! As someone who can fully relate to the struggles and conflicts of having vertigo while simultaneously having a yearning for the experience of adventure and discovery, it was honestly rather comforting to see you (Adam) go through it in similar fashion. Not a single one of my friends suffers from a fear of heights and (like you said) it is nigh on impossible to make somebody understand what it is like, however, what I saw in your behaviour is utterly recognizable. In a way (sorry if it is a weird way), it feels good to have this confirmation or vindication of my experience. Regarding a top three of destinations (for backpacking), I would like to suggest my personal 'bucket list': 1) Vietnam & Cambodia 2) Sri Lanka 3) Colombia If you would like to receive suggestions and information on backpacking through Japan, I would be happy to be of assistance. My wife is Japanese and as a result I have visited Japan over ten times. We have travelled quite a bit of the country extensively and as recently as April-June we have stayed in Japan for the maximum possible three months.

I wouldn’t have been able to move and literally have glued myself to the mountain wall and had have to be rescued by a helicopter. Think I would have had a panic attack. My feet went all funny just watching ☺️. How about Trigger then. He is so so cute 🥰 and brave. Dogs too can have fear of heights you know. I have had a dog, a black shepherd that was afraid of heights. Glad it didn’t bother Trigger. Being carried was a good thing. Tania, hats off, as if it was a walk in a park 🙂. I was having a bit of a panic attack watching Adam go along that narrow path, I also have a fear of heights and he did better than I would in that situation. Japan is one country I'd love to visit, although Australia and New Zealand are also on my bucket list.

Triggy is very cute. Mind you we are doggy pushovers. We were on a boating holiday last month and rescued a dog stuck on the river bank. We handed him in to dog wardens but he wasn’t claimed and now he’s ours!

We were on the exact trail, just a month ago. But hiked them in reverse, and the second one you did, went round Tre Cime. Had that same fear, didn't even know I had it in me. Being on an empty stomach didn't help, for sure. Went up just like you did. It was both terrifing and wonderfull, to still be able to discover yourself, after so many years living, thinking, what else is there to know about yourself? Funny thing is, that fear kicks in, only when the drop is on my left. When its on my right, its not that big of a problem. Brand new feeling, I got to feel again, by watching you. I blame the Dolomites. They give you a certain feel, being so pure, masive, abrupt, don't know, never felt like that on other mountains I hiked. And having a supportive, encouriging girlfriend also, helped a lot. All the love goes out to them. Wish you the best life human beings could possibly live!🤗

YOU have a fear of height and I'M breaking out in sweat just watching you guys! 😱
Facing your fears is often easier said then done. After all, fear is a self-preservation mechanism, hardwired into our brain. As you might remember I don't have a fear of height but claustrophobia and it can be absolutely paralysing! But you know what they say, the things worth doing are at the other side of our comfort zone (and your fantastic footage of the dolomites proves my point). It helps to remember that thoughts and emotions, like irrational fears, are nothing but electrical currents in our brains. They're not real! Of course, it is only rational to be cautious in dangerous situations, like that path, but to understand that fear is just something our brain makes up, to fully comprehend that it's not real, helps a lot. Bravery is not the absence of fear, it's overcoming it. Which is exactly what you did, mate! 💪🏽😉

You are wonderful, and too brave! Yes, I Love the Dolomites too! I did it by car and then by motorcycle, because I am unable to walk far, but even if I could trek, my fears would never allow me to do what you've done! Fear of heights would cause my legs to fold, and there wasn't enough trail up there for me to crawl back!
That drop was so scary. Forget being scared of heights, I was terrified watching the video!

As someone who can fully relate to the struggles and conflicts of having vertigo while simultaneously having a yearning for the experience of adventure and discovery, it was honestly rather comforting to see you (Adam) go through it in similar fashion. Not a single one of my friends suffers from a fear of heights and (like you said) it is nigh on impossible to make somebody understand what it is like, however, what I saw in your behaviour is utterly recognizable. In a way (sorry if it is a weird way), it feels good to have this confirmation or vindication of my experience.
Regarding a top three of destinations (for backpacking), I would like to suggest my personal 'bucket list':
1) Vietnam & Cambodia
2) Sri Lanka
3) Colombia
If you would like to receive suggestions and information on backpacking through Japan, I would be happy to be of assistance. My wife is Japanese and as a result I have visited Japan over ten times. We have travelled quite a bit of the country extensively and as recently as April-June we have stayed in Japan for the maximum possible three months.

Well done Adam 👍. Thinking it couldn’t get worse, it did, it really did 💩. I wouldn’t have been able to move and literally have glued myself to the mountain wall and had have to be rescued by a helicopter. Think I would have had a panic attack. My feet went all funny just watching ☺️.
How about Trigger then. He is so so cute 🥰 and brave. Dogs too can have fear of heights you know. I have had a dog, a black shepherd that was afraid of heights. Glad it didn’t bother Trigger. Being carried was a good thing.

I just polished off a whole vegan camembert whilst watching this video and I'm not sorry. Adam, you did good! I too have trouble with heights, even driving on high narrow roads. Now, your hair; it's like a mix of blond, brown and a hint of red I think. I wish my Tyler could still get around like your Triggy but at age 18 I'll settle for him just being able to stll be my campervan companion. The Dolomites are awesome, thank you for sharing the view.
