Idk why night slash feels like it doesnt register correctly sometimes. Some games I land it every time, others I completely botch it. Feint attack feels way more consistent.

If your dash from nightslash goes through them while you try to auto, the auto attack will go off in the wrong direction Because it aims in one direction but you moved past them. And the dumbass devs haven't managed to fix it yet, they even tried to once but ig they gave up
It's the auto-attack that's required in the Nightslash & also the dash direction in the move combo. Try holding down the basic attack button after using the move if u haven't already, it can be a bit tricky at first, though it can be more consistent sometimes than tapping the basic attack button.
What's more outrageous is that the Pokemon Achievement for Zoroark is to land on 2 opposing Pokemon on the ending animation of Night slash. And not only once, 3-4 times each battle. It is not so hard, but the time required to do it so much, just doesn't hit the dopamine
Needs another cooldown decrease since missing it is so common and you're left fully engaged as a sitting duck. Also making it attack faster would def help it. It's a cool looking move but gets fucked over by any and all stuns (including microstuns)
Nope this buff is fine. As a green badge zoroark player who runs night slash majority over feint, the buff wasn't even necessary. He attacks fast enough and it's smarter to run razor claw over scarf because of the slow. Shadow claw is better than cut in this meta because it covers more range and stuns the enemy mid move. The only isue would be running into counters like Wiggly or Pika but that's when you switch to feint attack since razor in feint is viable if you don't just button mash. Only real fix would be a shield. I won a game against foul play umbreon, pikachu with volt tackle, fire spin delphox and cinder and mamo so it's not impossible against damage dealers. 8 kos 11 assts New patch btw

@@jibbily27 I mean obviously I've gotten used to that but that makes entry level high for newcomers and people testing it out. But it's been 5 patches since the bug so it's more likely that it's a coding issue that's too integral to compromise.

Has anyone had any trouble while scoring? TBH I have the hold button mode and when I try to score it starts and interrupts in a flash. Tried it offline to see if it's my controller but it didn't fail. Changed configuration to single press button and when I tried to play online again it still failed, I have the option to mash the button but need to get used to it and it's annoying.
The move either needs to be easier to hit, or some other benefit. If Ceruledge can be invulnerable, at least other speedsters should have some hinderance resistance during their dash moves.🤔
Cris all the top night slash players play this build slow, they wait to use their next dash and its so annoying. sometiems they put cut in the combo as well to make unexpected plays and reach the final hit faster. just sharing my experience against crazy night slash players. im a feint enjoyer
Hey Cris use cut, combo is first night slash from far and don’t press basic attack, then press cut make sure it hits opponent to reset the night slash, the do the normal nightslash basic attack combo. Enemies won’t have much time to realise.
Night Slash final hit has too long of qnimation for how much the dmg itself isn't affect by it. If it's not Talon Fly, it's Char Unite. Speed up the animation; I get it, I'm untargetable.
finally, its not just me... ive been playing like 50 game with zoroark with night slash....... and i feel something was off in this patch. night slash is so much easly break at middle combo. i so frustated and i glad i have friend, xD hahaha

Zoroark, Gyarados, Mewtwo X & Y, and Ho-oh are the only achievments that I don't have because they all take so long.

I do think Zoroark didn't need the nerf after when Night Slash procs a lot of HP restored on landing the X

The circle proks up slower than the command so you have to adjust for the lag.
Night slash does not need a buff. It’s already a very strong moveset, take the time to learn it if you’re down too. But calling it bad is not the play
It's such a nonsense that Night Slash has high cooldown compared to Feint Attack when it requires much more skill to play Night Slash.

I still haven't learned how to use it even after watching the tutorials because it's more complicated on mobile (at least for me)
I would suggest to go to the practice area first, that's how I learned how to play that moveset, im also a mobile player.
