there is at least one more way I know using the end entry platform. This way is even able to be fully automated using wither breaking machines. (I m not sure if the fully automated methodes work in the most recent version of minecraft though.)

Yes you can mine nether portals. You need a portal destroyer in the overworld which destroys the portal once you enter, if u travel back a new one is generated, mine that, activate the old one and activate the portal destroyer again
Your overworld needs to stay loaded tho, so u need multiple players.. Unless u do this in the world spawn chunk
You can place the wither in the obsidian spawn of the end and make an obsidian farm

I actually found a way to farm obsidian, but it needs 2 people. You make a nether portal, then someone goes in. You break the portal, and the person inside lights it again. Now you will have another portal in a different place. Repeat until you have ~ 5 portals, mine them all up, then repeat the process again if you want even more obsidian.
I didn't know that the obsidian towers in the end wil return when the ender dragon respawn back. Never tried it by my self.
Honestly, Minecraft has an issue with features not being shown in any way besides word of mouth or going to the tutorial section constantly.
If I remember correctly, there was a free demo of Minecraft you could play online in the Minecraft site a long time ago. Could you check into that ant? My memory could be not working properly, but it was a site you logged and for example, you and some other players could build in that world for X time. Also some(?) All(?) Worlds would be filled with lava before creating another one, creating a mini game of sorts where the last one standing won(?)
Does anyone else remember this? Was it a weird dream and nothing else?
oh yeah! that was classic mode, i don't think there was a time limit on it since i spent forever on there back in the day - i also remember those lava survival minigames
edit to elaborate: i remember specifically, you could either play by yourself on singleplayer or play with others, since there was also a server directory. aside from the lava minigame servers you mentioned, "plotworld"-ish servers where everyone had their own map to build on that they could invite others to were also pretty popular

Btw in mcpe (bedrock) not only mob's have there own spawn egg all entity's have there own spawn egg (iron/snow golem's have there own vanilla spawn egg) falling blocks have spawn eggs leash knot,tnt spawn egg, Ender crystal, ender dragon etc.

The "infinite water/lava" glitch was also a gamemode on some class minecraft server.
The serve rwill start, and you'll have to make shellter before you got caught by lava, and start doing whatever you like.
One of the few rule was to not block the point where the lava started to flow, because that just ruin the fun.
Tip for the obsidian farming :
The spawn platform in the end rebuilds itself everytime someone passes through
So you just have to put a bed near your end portal, go through the portal, mine the platform, go to the remote portal and repeat to have infinite obsidian

I would've had the 2013 cape since minecon was nearby that year, but when I asked one of my parents if I could go to minecon, they waited until after it was over to bring it up with the other parent, at which point it obviously didn't matter.

Minecraft Classic was a gem. I wish you would make an entire video about it. It was a version of Minecraft I played a lot back in the day before I was able of buying the game. It was completely free and avalaible in the official website, but at a unsure date it simply vanished, with only the nostalgic memories of those who played keeping it alive... to a degree.
There were many servers, and they all had their quirks that made them unique. I remember visiting a server that would give you build commands as you climbed ranks, that could be earned by building and having your creations reviewed by staff.
What many people that played that version of the game might remember are the classic gamemodes, like Zombie Survival, where players would be infected and infect others by touching them, Lava Survival or Lava Flood having the entire map slowly being covered in lava as the players make various creations to protect and shelter themselves, and anyone who decided to stick around with them, and the unforgettable TNT Wars where two teams would fight each other by placing TNT near their enemies to eliminate them which required a lot of timing and creativity, as well as using various other tools like lasers and mortars unlocked in limited supplies through points gained by eliminating enemies. It even had a FFA gamemode.
I don't know how many people know about it, to such a degree I sometimes question if those memories are even real. I was happy when you mentioned the existance of Minecraft Classic and I wish I could once again experience it, just like the old days.
Hopefully, if you find it interesting enough for a video, it would be amazing if you could show others that never had an opportunity to see what it was like before suddenly vanishing without a trace, and resurface precious memories of those who did.

When did Endermen get their own sound though?
I remember in 1.8 beta that the new mobs used the same sounds as were already in the game. Endermen had zombie noises, silverfish had spider noises, and I can't remember if any other mobs were introduced at this time

there is also a patch available for spigot servers (most popular minecraft server base code)

@@coolguy284_2 its a glitch that uses written books to make the chunk size too big, therefor it cannot be autosaved and returns to a previous save state. all items you take out of the chunk while it cannot be saved, will return once the chunk is unloaded

7:06 It's also possible to use a special trick with portals to farm their obsidian, or just visit the end and collect the obsidian that gets created on arrival.
My favorite easter egg/trivia in minecraft is this one: when using the /give command to get a pickaxe/axe/shovel and you use the syntax for it only being able to break certain blocks but not specify said blocks it will give a tool that can break missingno which is a reference to the infamous missingno glitch from pokemon red and blue
Also just putting this out there another way to "farm" obsidian infinity is to go to the end and mine the platform you spawn on, go hone and return to the end and the platform will regenerate
This game is nuts, it's almost 10 years old and still relevant. Just the one game not a franchise. I cant think of any others off the top off my head that equate
The redstone to obsidian trick also worked with string, so if you had a way to farm spiders it was effectively infinite.

I knew a good portion, only a few were new for me. But they are still interesting, great video 👍
You can farm obsidian by going into the nether, breaking the portal (one block will do) and then having an item fired into the nether though the portal you came through (using another player or an automated system). Break the portal and continue. When you are done mine up the rest of the obsidian and leave.
I knew about the infinite spreading lava from a VERY old video called Notch at Waterfall. This video doesn’t exist anymore but I still have it saved on my old pc.
There used to be a glitch in the Xbox version of the game where if you broke a block, switched to pick it up instantly after it broke, and place it back down instantly after picking it up. (And I mean instantly) the block would duplicate in your inventory, my friend and I used to use that glitch to farm iron, gold, and diamonds as soon as we found 9 of each to craft a block, that is until the patched the bug.

I watched a few videos of yours in the past I have never subscribed because I already have a ton of subscriptions in my feeds just constantly a whole ton of stuff but that Enderman thing that cut deep new subscriber
I remember using the infinite obsidian trick and the item dupe glitch where you throw items on the ground, save and quit, then load back in to pick the items up and then finally closing the game without saving back in 1.2.5 xD
You forgot that you can farm obsidian using the end's spawning platform, you can basically summon a wither to break it and make an item clock that throws an item into the portal to regenerate the obsidian platform, its a fast process and the most used in obsidian farming.

But another way to farm Obsidian (it will take two people though!) make a portal to the nether, have one in the overworld and have them break the portal all the way down whilst the one in the nether then enters the portal, creating a whole new portal, not an ample supply, but a whole 10-14Blocks or so, so uwu
Oh in Minecraft Classic there was one Gamemode called "Lava Flood" on some servers ... that was like the most fun one. Utilizing Creativity, Teamwork and certain settings on the server itself to make 15 Minute Rounds of Funess.

I remember playing it, there was a server called Lava Survival. Basically, there was a time limit to build a bunker/shelter, then after 15min? Lava starts to spread from one corner. And you need to survive by makeing a shelter, some blocks brake so you need to replace them fast and saplings & mushrooms acted like a block trough which you could go through. Best part, there was a map full of bedrocks and you couldn't place blocks inside. Instead you have to climb to the top and build there. Lava starts pouring from bottom and top, so people in middle are screwed .I wish some server can bring this gamemode back :(

i first started playing minecraft in october 2010 when the main game was in the late stages of alpha development, but before that i started with minecraft classic. i started playing on multiplayer servers with classic, then bought the game 2 days before beta. and yes it was VERY limited. also, classic was free at the time so it allowed me to demo it before buying.
Thanks to this video, I finally realized that the first time I played Minecraft was the Classic version. Although I don't remember the exact year I started, but it was after it finished, when the online gameplay on-site was still a thing. I think it was in late 2010-early 2011. But anyways, thank you dear AntVenom for this video :)
I really loved those old liquid physics back then. I always tried to fill in with that way my map :P
Also, that was the time (in the Classic mode) where the Lava Survival minigame was a thing several servers had. Too bad this has been stopped and it's really rare to find a server which still has that minigame. I kept playing MC back then only for that.
