Gorgeously spooky... And oh, the rabbit in the striped top and dungarees! And the reindeer,of course. Adorable. Catching up while knitting some wristwarmers... Happy New week!
That Schjeepies bookazine looks good. I like the pumpkins you made and that top😍😍 It makes me want to make one but I'm lazy at the moment and started a sweater I'd like to finish first. I agree with you about that period of bohemian spirit I just love the art especially. The attention to the detail of textiles, color, design, textures it's all so dreamy and gorgeous. It's palpable. ❤️
Fabulous episode, lush crocheted top too, absolutely stunning. I binge watched The Chestnut Man on Netflix, so very good. Take care and keep sharing your joy 🧶🌻🧵🍂
Stop you’ll make me blush!! Thank you for stopping to say hello, I’ve been meaning to leave a comment over on your channel but I’m just a bit rubbish really - sorry! I’m very much enjoying Cosytober though … i add them all to my watch later list and enjoy them on my days off whilst I crochet! Sending lots of love to you and yours, Em xx
Everything you make is so beautiful.. while showing your pumpkins, you inspired me to add that curly cue, on top. Thank you!! Oohhhh.. I LOVE my Moorit mag, it's beyond incredible 💕
Oh wow six grandchildren … you definitely have your work cut out for you! I expect they will be very treasured. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment I love to hear what projects others have on the go! Em xx
I so enjoyed your podcast and love your pumpkins and the top is so pretty. I was watching a live this morning and I shared your channel name with the host and panel and they are excited to come your way. One podcaster Linda Simpson is also British and I believe you could become friends. Thanks for sharing your beautiful projects.
Thank you for another lovely podcast. I love the look of those lacy sleeves and I think I would keep the rest of the top more simple. I love the look of the vintage pattern book and would love to have it. Looking forward to your next video xx
Hello Emma, another gorgeous post, thank you. You will look so lovely in your white crochet top. I look forward to seeing it completed Best wishes from Dianne 🌹💕
Hi Emma, good to see you vlogging again. I think you should do all of the lace on your top. It will look lovely on you. Haven't made any crochet pumpkins but I'm seriously thinking of making your spiderweb collar. I do really like your crochet patterns. Thanks for the recommendation of Midnight Mass, I'll add it to my watching lineup. I can recommend "Season 10 of American Horror Story" which was filmed in Provincetown, Mass on the very tip of Cape Cod! My sister has a summer home very near to where it was filmed. I am currently working on a knitting project which is not really going well.
Ohh thank you for the tv recommendation… I love the American Horror Series, I didn’t realise that there was a new season out! Sorry to hear your knitting is misbehaving… I seem to have trouble with all my knitting projects 🤣xx
I would love to have the book you have extra. I love crochet and don’t have any books yet! Great video thanks. Love the white top you are making.👍🏻🙋🏻♀️🌹
you always make the most beautiful things. I love the progress on your top so far, I think I would make a plain body too. I have been making scarves and cowls. Its been unusually warm here for October, but winter will be here one of these days!
Ohh I’ve yet to start on scarves and cowls but I don’t think it will be long! It’s been fairly warm here getting a bit chillier in the evenings but I’m refusing to put the heating on yet 😬xx
Oh my goodness Emma, that top is going to be stunning.....the drape on those sleeves! 😍 I love the squishy pumpkins too! I've just finished watching Nine Perfect Strangers on Prime. Have you seen it? It was very quirky and strange but I really enjoyed it. Right, I'm off to crochet a pumpkin now 🎃 x
I love the sound of the woodland sparkle vest, I will look that up so I can have a look! Yes I may use the lace part for the edging and keep the rest simple… I’m still deciding! Have a lovely week, Emma xx
I'm Catholic and let me tell you: one of the things that disturbed me the most about Midnight Mass was the deterioration of the mass ritual! Omg! the first mass is an almost real catholic mass but then everything changed in a very subtle and peculiar way. I'm not an expert, but my religious upbringing was enough to make me feel horrified! I really liked the show, the horror part is unexpected as you said. I have my Halloween collar and I always wear it😁. Love your top, is beautifully romantic even without the lace parts, so keep it simple!
Yes I agree, I think you would have to be a regular church goer to notice some of the subtle changes. I did notice the vestments were wrong at the start but I thought it was because he wasn’t a real priest at the beginning! Thank you I’m just in love with those Lacy sleeves, Em 💕
Hi Emma! I would love to have the book 📖 🧶 ❤️ How you finding them 🤷♀️ I start going to charity shops looking for crochet books but I never found any 😕 🍀
Yes I know what you mean, I come across them less and less at charity shops now… I picked this one up at the car boot sale for 50p I just couldn’t leave it there! I’ve added your name to my list and I’ll get Lulu to pull a name from a hat xx
That top is gorgeous. I understand why you're in love with it!! Gorgeous. Lovely podcast

Loved watching your podcast. The lace .. I think maybee the under-border in pattern?
I am knitting the woodland sparkle vest. big hug from belgium

I think the top would be so classic if you kept it straight instead of the flare. It looks AMAZING!
Beautiful top. Maybe you could try the lace around the hemline and keep the body plain.
Thank you, yes I’ve been thinking the same!

I pick up my book tomorrow from my local yarn shop and I would love that as a summer top and like you I would prefer not to shape it in
Thank you! Yes I think it would make a lovely summer top too. Xx
