I really like the way you create the pumpkins. Being able to use one piece of fabric and starting out with a tube of fabric and using either yarn or embroidery floss to create the segments of the pumpkins I have been making them using a different tutorial where I had to cut several pieces of different fabric and sew them together. What I found difficult was gathering the top and bottom of the pumpkin after it was stuffed with the polyfill. I am going to try your method as I am trying to create several pumpkins for decorating my home. I also love your use of felt for the stem and leaves. Thank you.
Thank you Celeste! I could see tendrils added to the mix for fun using green floral wire or wet yarn wrapped around a pencil and dried to hold its shape. The possibilities are endless. I’ve enjoyed your tutorials!
I am so happy to have found your channel.. I am a beginner “hand sewing” grandma that was looking for easy fabric pumpkins to create for my toddler grandson . Thank you so much for an EASY tutorial and wonderful in depth instructions for various sizes!!! I can’t wait to go through your previous videos …. Hoping for simple Christmas fabric crafts ….
Celeste…I have rewatched all your tomato and pumpkin tutorials…yours are just beautiful…I think you could design anything and I would make it…thanks so much for all that you do in your podcasts❣️
Thank you, Celeste, for this wonderful, easy pumpkin tutorial. You are a very good teacher! Thank you so much for taking the time to make these tutorials and for your flosstube videos. Happy stitching! 🍁🍂🧡
Very cute pumpkins, it's been years since I've made them, so I'm glad I saw your tutorial, it's like, oh yes, that's how I did it (thanks for the reminder). The one thing I never did was make my own leaves, since I also make wreaths I have artifical leaves I used. I like the idea of making my own leaves. Don't worry if your leaves aren't perfect, nature isn't always perfect. Thank you for sharing your Time, and Talent with all of us. Love the fabric you used.
Thanks, Celeste, I am late to the party just making this in September 2022, but loved your instructions and managed to make two very cute pumpkins. I put beans in the bottom of mine for weight.
I add lizzard litter to the bottom of the stuffed pumpkin . . . . you can get it at Pets R Us. it also sharpens your pins and needles and can be used for a pin cushion to sharpen your pins and needles.
Yours is the best tutorial and the cutest pumpkins I have seen on UA-cam. I have been through many, many videos and I just love your pumpkins! Thank you so much!! ♥️♥️
You TOTALLY read my mind Celeste!!! I was just thinking about how much I would love to know how to make these!!! I need to find your tomato tutorial as well!!! 🧡🧡🧡
Another great tutorial...you really do a good job explaining all the steps...I did make a few of the tomato pincushions and am definitely going to make a few pumpkins too!
Thank you Celeste for taking the time to show this Fall craft!! I do not know how to use a sewing machine so I will do some extra stitches on my pumpkin!!😊. HAPPY STITCHING TODAY AND EVERYDAY IN 2020!!
Thank you for your pumpkin tutorial. I'm going to get with my co workers at assisted living and make some of these with my clients!!!! Love, sherrie. Sept 20, 2021
I'm a floor rep at my apartment floor, and I want to do Fall decor that I make one time and reuse every year. So what about washable pumpkins that I can rewash and reuse them; how can I make those kind of pumpkins?
Oh. Good thought. I’m not sure pipe cleaner would look right unless it was the right color or a little more vintage looking. What about a paper wrapped wire?? Jewelry aisle??!
