I am an Icon. I used to over buy the sale. When I shop it now, I look for higher end items that have a really good discount. Otherwise, I tend to skip the sale. I will no longer buy, just to buy.

I’ve watched you for years and have never missed your NSALE picks and hauls. I LOVE how intentional you’re being about your selections this year, I find it to be a very smart approach and refreshing! I think you might be the only person that I’ve seen doing a video like it, this year. I’m also not shopping the same way that I have in the past, after coming to the realization after multiple yearly closet clean outs that I’ve actually kept nothing from any of the NSALES past.
Omg yes right. I agree the things I keep are either higher end brands or classic pieces I wear all the time. The trendy stuff never stays!!! Stay strong we can do this together! 💕
The Frame Gillian blouse can be challenging if you’re busty. Size up if you don’t want gaping at the chest. The Frame short sleeve wool/cashmere sweater is cropped. If you are busty, it makes it even shorter. I am 5’4” so not tall at all and I was constantly pulling that sweater down (I bought it in another color). I returned it.

I definitely scaled back this year so your strategy resonates with me. I have about 20 items and nearly half are socks or bras. I am most excited about a Veronica Beard blazer (brown tweed) and two pairs of Mother jeans. I'm also picking up the Nike Air 270s in the same color and I'm going to give the white Hokas a try. Yay for less returns, right?

I have spent the last five or more years buying EVERYTHING on the sale, and returning nearly all of it. I always get caught up in the hype, then when the things arrive, I usually realize that the sale price is still over priced. That or the quality doesn’t match the price, or yet again, surprise I have four just like it. This year, I am going to try my hardest, no guarantees, to resist. I NEED, legit need, my lash serum, and a black coat. That is it. I live in the Northeast, so I should get a pair of blondo waterproof booties to replace my current pair. Anything else is not a need. I have seen a few things I like the look of, but anything remotely trendy I will check Marshalls or TJ Maxx for. They get A LOT of the identical items for so much less. Happy hunting ladies….
